I like the face itself! It’s messy but purposeful, even if more could have been done to make the mess look better. Like giving his eyebrows back and adding more heavy shading.
But with the hands being the usual style, it makes everything else look like shit in comparison. I know it’s hard to draw hands, especially abstracted like this. But you should still try to make them match the rest of the drawing. Lazy
I don’t know the context of this panel but it looks more like panic and fear than menace. The wide eyes and strained frown give me that vibe.

Lore Olympus was marketed as a “feminist retelling” of the Greek myth The Taking of Persephone. It started off really well, inclusion of real problems that people don’t often want to talk about was a big focus point. I’ll also be the first to admit that in the beginning, the art was super alluring.
Eventually, people started poking holes in the story. There was a lack of continuity and the characters just became plain unlikable. Persephone and Hades can do no wrong (including ripping a journalist’s eye out over a tabloid headline,) and everyone else is just stupid and out to get them.
The art has downgraded in quality by a significant margin. It was a little rough in the beginning, but it was a charming style and nothing like it had ever really been on Webtoon before. People also began to notice how similar the main character was to Rachel Smythe, the author. So close that it was pretty obvious that RS modeled Persephone after herself. Which isn’t necessarily weird in and of itself, I’d argue all writers incorporate bits of themselves into the characters they write. The reason it’s weird here is because people went through her post history on various sites, and found a significant amount of evidence that the whole PerseHades thing is just self insert fanfiction of herself and Mads Mikkelsen.
She can’t consistently draw her characters, she even admitted she doesn’t have saved color palettes and will just wing it with every chapter. She’s also hired several artists with distinctive art styles, so it’s easy to tell who she employed to write each chapter. And whenever she’s given constructive criticism (from what I’ve seen on this sub, nobody has ever been unnecessarily harsh,) she writes it into the story as dialogue from the villain.

I think it's supposed to be abstract. Persephone is making Apollo hallucinate. There have been other abstract -ish panels in the past few episodes. I wish rachel would've done this all throughout the comic and not just now. It looks confusing and out of place.
But then again, Apollo's hallucination is confusing and out of place for him. So. Eh.
