Admission Procedure

Madras Christian College Chennai admissions are completely conducted online, and there will be no sale of application forms on the college premises. To apply for their undergraduate degrees - B.A, B.Sc, B.Com, B.S.W, B.C.A, B.B.A, candidates must meet all the required eligibility requirements of the course for which they candidate is applying. The candidate must go through the admission portal created on the MCC Chennai website and send an application. While the admission criteria and eligibility differ from course to course, all students must have passed their 10+2 school leaving test from a recognised board of secondary education. Most admissions happen on the basis of merit. 

MCC Chennai offers postgraduate degrees such as M.A, M.Sc, M.Com, M.S.W and PHD courses. The applicant must fulfil all eligibility requirements for the course they are applying for. Two times a year, applications can be made for the PhD programme.  The candidates will be able to apply online for two sessions of admission. Candidates must have a Master's degree or a professional degree that has been deemed by the appropriate statutory regulatory body to be equivalent to the Master's degree, with a minimum cumulative GPA of 55%, in order to be eligible for the course. Candidate should have a bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline in order to be applied for postgraduate courses.
