The Luzerne County Division of Corrections is a County funded and operated law enforcement agency. The Department services all municipal and state law enforcement authorities via the Luzerne County Court of Common Pleas and 16 local Magisterial District Justice Offices. The Department is the single largest criminal justice agency within Luzerne County, employing over 320 people in various types of jobs.
