The Luxe Sunset Boulevard Hotel stands out for its cleanliness and prime location, beloved by guests for its proximity to LA attractions and its secluded vibe. While the hotel's atmosphere and amenities are celebrated for their luxury, some travelers have reservations about the value, citing hidden fees and noise concerns in rooms that sometimes contrast with the lobby's trendy ambiance. Service quality appears to be hit or miss, with experiences ranging from warm hospitality to frustrating unresponsiveness.

This was our second time staying at this property, and once again we had a flawless experience: we booked a big (700sf!) beautiful Executive Suite, complete with four-poster bed, sitting area, balcony overlooking the beautiful pool, and one of the most gorgeous marble bathrooms complete with separate tub and glass shower. Small and thoughtful details are everywhere and the staff (bellhop, front desk, valet, restaurant servers) are all top notch and obviously take pride in providing superior service. The only (potential) drawback to this property is that it's divided into two buildings: the main building (front desk, lobby, restaurant, bar, etc.) is at the "street" level, but the other building (including gym, pool, etc.) is perched up a steep hill...the hotel provides shuttle

Dear Michael M, Many thanks for such an in depth review and I am delighted to hear that you continue to enjoy the hotel even after your second visit! While we are so fortunate to be in such a beautiful location, it is the ladies and gentlemen on our teams that really make us who we are; our staff are our greatest asset. One of my favorite rooms at The Luxe Sunset Blvd. Hotel is the Executive Suite as it provides ample amenities. As you mentioned previously, the view of the pool is truly beautiful and the greenery around the pool is also a wonderful sight to see as you step out into the balcony. (My favorite room preference!) We look forward to your return and are excited for the opportunity to introduce you to rooms in our Sunset Building should you be interested. I remain at your disposition should you request a third getaway in the near future. Wishing you all the best, Hudith Castro Front Office Manager (310) 691-7557

My husband and I stayed 3 nights while on business in LA at this lovely private hotel tucked into the hillside just off 405. We stayed in the upper building with a view of the pool. The friendly valet let us park our own car in the upper lot which was our request. The upper building has no elevator however so we had to lug our baggage down long hallways and up the stairs. This may be an issue for some guests. In addition we had two "full beds" in our room which were very short and small even for me and I am fairly petite (not queen or double beds which was confirmed by the receptionist.) Other than those issues it was quiet and peaceful with friendly staff and I would return again, next time with a request for a bed that is not an oversized twin.

What a nice stay I had at the Luxe on Sunset in LA last week. Room was super comfy with nice bedding and a sophisticated style. Bar scene was fun and the food was delicious. Everyone was very nice and helpful. If there was anything different, its the fact that it is 2 separate buildings, and one is up a hill. They will ride you up and down the hill whenever you need it though. I would stay here again- conveniently located off the 405- close to lots of places.

My husband and I along with some friends stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Hotel itself was really nice and the staff were awesome. Upon check in there was a system issue so the staff upgraded our room type. The room we stayed in was huge. The valet parking is a little pricy considering the parking is located right at the entrance. The only downfall for us was the location it was in. Brentwood itself is lovely, safe and the hotel is a short walk away from small sets of shops which have cafes and restaurants. Nothing is open past 10pm and its about a 15-20 min drive from Beverly Hills depending on the traffic. We had a great stay and would recommend the hotel.

Easy to miss, but it's right off the 405 and sunset. Secluded and nice facilities. The rooms were very large- friendly and efficient front desk. It's location also makes it a good place if doing business in the area. A hotel nearby had a nice bar with a great view if your looking for something different close. They also have nice meeting facilities and a great restaurant. The walls are a bit thin in some rooms- but for the most part it's a very nice hotel and feels like an escape from the insanity of LA.

Would have been nicer if we weren't in the upper building with no access to food or elevator. Room was beautiful and quite. They only gave us 1 towel for 2 people and no refills on the coffee. Next time I would stay in the main building.

My partner and I stayed here for a trip that included both work and leisure. This hotel is all about service. From the moment we checked in to the moment we checked out, it was clear that we would be taken good care of. We're usually low-maintenance visitors but in this case we did have a few things we needed--the first room we were in was near some noisy occupants above and across the hall; because we were staying for 8 nights, we asked to be moved to a quieter room partway through our stay and the staff were totally accommodating of our request. The second room was perfect. I also had trouble with connecting to my work email through my VPN, and the minute I made a service request, someone was up to assist right away and my problem was promptly fixed. We could not have been

Dear scl28970, On behalf of the entire team here at Luxe Sunset we are humbled by your review! To say that you felt you were treated like "royalty" is what we hope every guest can say after a stay with us. It is always our goal to attend to our guests needs in a prompt manner and I am very happy to hear that you were satisfied with this, but I do apologize for the noisy room you were assigned to to start. We are very appreciative of all your remarks and I do hope to welcome you two back to Luxe Sunset soon especially because I highly recommend visiting the Getty Museum it is AMAZING and we have a free shuttle that takes our guests to the tram. Again, thank you for your thoughtful notes! Sincerely, Amy Commans

I called and said I'd be late check in. They not only held the room but when I arrived about 10pm that evening the Valet recognized me by name and I have never stayed here before. Classy start. Room on 2nd floor large, nicely appointed, all very up to date and King Size bed extremely comfortable. My next night I decided to bring a friend back for cocktails and bar was closed. My childhood friend and the bar manager, named Dave realized our plight and chatted us up and made us feel comfortable even though it was probably past his shift. He made us one drink each and told us to stay as long as we liked. I would stay here again, again and again.
