Luke Evans might be the star of such projects as Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Peter Jackson's Hobbit trilogy, Universal's Dracula reboot, and the critically acclaimed miniseries Nine Perfect Strangers—but to a certain contingent of his Instagram followers, his best work can be found on main.
The 42-year-old actor has been working hard in the gym over the last two years to get into incredible shape, in order to reprise the swole role of Gaston in Disney's Beauty and the Beast prequel series The Little Town alongside Josh Gad. He has also been training alongside real-life Colombian military personnel to for the upcoming Apple TV+ original series Echo 3, in which he plays an ex-army mercenary.
Not only has Evans lost fat, packed on muscle, and absolutely shredded his abs throughout this process, but he has also documented his impressive body transformation in a series of shirtless Instagram selfies. And his thirst trap game is, to put it mildly, on point.
Evans has bared his muscular physique in a series of shirtless photos while shooting Echo 3 in Colombia. And in his most recent post-filming update, shared from a resort in Enai Del Mar, his thirst trap prowess reaches its apotheosis, with the actor showing off just about as much as he can while still adhering to Instagram's policy on nudity.
"Just before I fell in," he wrote, with a coy use of the water drop emoji, while posing on a swing above a pool in a tiny Speedo with his chest, arm and leg gains and six-pack on full display.
