Fantastic experience, unfortunately we had to rush to get to the theatre however the food was amazing and the service was very good and friendly. Will definitely make a return visit and make sure we get to have dessert next time. 😉

Very pleasant meal for four of us, we all enjoyed our different choices of pizza, pasta and fish. Attentive and friendly service from Kavi. Will be back again.

The food was fine but the major problem was the intention to push us quickly through the service as the kitchen would be under pressure from covers after our booking 1. We were not offered pre drinks 2. As the starter was taken away, the second course turned up 3. The waitress ensured our wine was topped up 4. When we explained to the manager as we were finishing our main course that we were being pushed through, he laughed and said what would you like for desert So, we had completed both starter and main course in under 35 mins!! We got out after 60 mins only because they didn’t attend to the bill for 10 mins and then then the manager wanted to explain he didn’t mean what he had said earlier!! We all appreciate the food is important but equally the quality of the service is vital to the overall dining experience. On that basis our visit to Glovers Alley the night before was a resounding Michelin experience - attentive service and superb dishes over 2 hours. This was no more than an up market Italian restaurant with a supercilious attitude to their diners so hugely disappointing

As always, Osteria Lucio was fabulous! Paulo is a tremendous host and so accommodating. The food, wine and venue are top class. Thank you to all the team.

Love the venue. Love the food. But service has notions! Told we had to leave! In 15 mins! As I was on my second last slice of pizza. Quite taken aback. Complained about this and was told dining was for a 1hr45 min slot! Yet our 15 min notice was 30 mins before. Quickly ate last slice and skipped desert. Paid and left with the rest of our wine and water to have at home!! Felt better when the table beside us said they had been given notice to leave after one hour!?! Barely enough time to eat. Let alone enjoy.

We were heading to the Leinster match at 8pm. Table booked for 6pm Greeted by friendly smiling staff as usual. I had a draft beer and my wife a G &T and some sparking water. We were left to relax into our evening and to decide on the menu. We shared a burrata starter and went with lasagna for me and Milano chicken for my wife. The food was excellent as always, correctly portioned and very enjoyable. A great way to start our evening, culminating in a great win for Leinster.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit, staff were very friendly. Food was delicious, more vegetarian options on the menu would be favourable. Has been here before and will be back.

Negroni with coffee infused Gin was very good Suckling pig shoulder for two was delicious & tender, the skin really crispy. Delightful desserts: canoli with cinnamon & rhubarb with mascarpone Espresso and Grappa Wonderful experience, will recommend & return.

We chose the Big Lucio and it was absolutely amazing. You get a taste of a lot of the menu and everything was soooooooo good. Couldn't recommend enough. We've tried the a la carte was was spectacular too and we'll try the suckling pig next. Service is excellent, love the place!

We love eating here. The food is excellent with portions such that you can enjoy a three course meal. Service is efficient and friendly and the ambience relaxed. Prices are reasonable for the quality of the food and wine.

A nice place to sit and friendly staff. Ambience is nice but found the food to be overpriced and we weren’t blown away by anything we had. Still had an enjoyable evening but wouldn’t come for the food alone

Food was very nice. We got our starter pretty quickly. Then had to wait an hour for our main course. We were going to the theatre and had to say this to get them to hurry up.

Fab food and service. No tagliata or veal when we went to order but it didn’t matter. Suckling pig and chicken Milanese were great. We will be back.

Staff were very attentive, and good. We had a special birthday girl at the table and this was acknowledged at the outset and a fuss made. Food was gorgeous, menu selection could be improved upon.

Food was VERY good. BUT we were 30 mins waiting for a drink. NOT good. Poor response from the management (possibly not allowed to offer a courtesy gesture for poor service?). Tables on top of each other (unlike our last visit). The restaurant is overpriced by 20%.

The staff were welcoming and attentive at all times. The food was delicious and the beef cooked to perfection. Portion sizes were perfect and the wine was fab. Highly recommend and great value for money.
