Terrible Customer Service DO NOT GO!
1.0 of 5 bubblesMay 2024
If I could give this location a zero I would. Louis Vuitton's recent refusal to stamp my passport cover, citing an undisclosed "one stamp per passport cover” policy, was not only unexpected but also deeply disappointing. I spent $4,000 in 2 days and was shocked to be refused the service. Initially, the staff cited a purported “UK policy” as the reason for their refusal to stamp my passport cover. However, when I mentioned that I received a stamp at the LV store in Manchester, their excuse suddenly shifted to LV policy. Nowhere in their store or on their website is this policy mentioned or explained. It felt like a sudden and arbitrary decision made on the spot, without any consideration for customer satisfaction or transparency. The lack of clarity surrounding this policy left me feeling frustrated and undervalued as a customer. It's concerning that Louis Vuitton would enforce a rule without providing any information or rationale behind it. As a brand known for luxury and exceptional service, Louis Vuitton should prioritize clear communication and customer understanding. Unfortunately, this incident has tarnished my perception of their commitment to providing a positive shopping experience. In the absence of any written or expressed policy regarding passport stamping, Louis Vuitton's refusal to accommodate such a simple request is both disappointing and unacceptable. I highly discourage anyone from shopping for Louis Vuitton in London. If you wish to have a better experience, I suggest going to northern UK where the service is more accommodating.

The area
Address
Neighborhood: Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.

We bought a Pegase 55 in 2018 and the zip decided to stick. No problem I thought - I’ll call LV Client Services so they can quote for the time and cost of a repair. Ha, that’s when it became clear that Client Services is the wrong title as it should be No Services. I called and was told I have to call a store to discuss the problem with them. Ok, I Googled the number for Bond Street but the only number I could find was for Client Services! I called them again and was told I can’t call a store but have to visit personally, with the bag, as they won’t know what’s needed unless I take it in. I said you’re one of the most premium brands in the world and you want me to go all the way into London to be told something I already know? “Yes sir”. Extraordinary! I asked if I could email a store and was told “No”. I asked if they could email a store for the information and was told the store will just say to bring it in. Getting a little bored with this, I said ok, you’re Client Services and I would like you to do the following. Please email a store on my behalf and at the very beginning of the email, please ask them not to say bring the bag in. Please then tell them the bag needs a new zip, nothing else, and approximately how long will it take to repair and at roughly what cost? Do you think you could do this for me? “Certainly Sir”. Honestly, you couldn’t make it up. I now await a call or email asking me to bring the bag in.

Absolutely agree with other reviewers. We also visited for my 40th. We were asked by a lady with an iPad what we were after, which I replied a small black chain bag with gold lettering, she replied with a sarcastic laugh and said we have many little black bags, I’ll take your mobile no and an assistant will help you. So we had a quick browse and left the shop, as I felt she was snobbish. We came for my 30th and it was the most loveliest experience ever, we were treated as if we were millionaires and clearly from how we dressed and spoke we were just your average joe. What happened LV? You need to employ down to earth staff preferably without a stick lodged up their derrières. I won’t be returning to this branch EVER again.

Went to Louis Vuitton to buy a bag, as it was raining about 10 people where standing on the steps in front of entrance. They didn't have umbrella's so I walked past them into the store and was stopped by a little security man and was asked why I was visiting today I thought it was weird, but still replied to purchase a bag. I was then told to wait outside in the rain (I had an umbrella) as there was a que, obviously those people where only there as they had no umbrella's. I just left, it was so weird and rude of the little security guard to ask why I was visiting like why do you think obviously I'm going to purchase something. Will just buy from online or next time go to another store hopefully it would be better there.

I was waiting on the queue in the rain without umbrella. I have no idea it is going to rain by the way some people just don’t stand on the queue when they opened at 11AM on Saturday. It was big crowded put into the shop.

Staff were friendly in front of the entrance and helpful but once I was looking a bags that I always wanted, it seem to me that they’re all sold out is that true ?? or have to leave for another guest that more important than me. I do understand that some are sold out but all my choices same sold out as well.

Staff were told me to go to LV at Sloan street, I went up there at first he checked and said “yes” the one that you wanted we have one left but let’s me talked to the manager first. He went downstairs and came up to me said Oh “sorry” we don’t have it you have to wait quite a long time. It seem like my money doesn’t good same everyone else or have to sell to someone which have more money ? Never came back again I rather go to Paris as I usually do.

I visited the Westfield store & purchased a wallet.
Was told that I was getting the item I viewed but on returning home (100 miles away) the next day discovered the product had 2 faults with it so not the item I viewed!
Member of staff said she had put a free gift in the bag but no gift in there!
After contacting Client Services I received a call from the store who said they could arrange a courier to come & collect item.
Courier service was so bad-came when not expected & then didn’t come at all.
Received call from a manager who told me refund would be issued & free gift sent.
Nearly 10 days on still to receive refund and no gift received!!!!
Basically LV are a luxury brand who sell defective products.
Reported issues to LV client services but they didn’t want to know & kept referring me back to the store but I think as a company they should be aware of what is happening in the stores.
Shocking customer experience all round.
Birthday gift ruined completely!

I was bought the PETIT DAMIER SCARF NM as a very generous gift from my oldest friend after having major heart surgery. The scarf arrived 1 week after purchase and within a month of wear (4-5 times) it developed numerous pulls in the fabric. On heavy medication complaining wasn’t highest on my priority list and when I got round to it I was 1 day over the 1 month return policy. All I asked for was a replacement with a non faulty scarf and was told I wore it wrong and they will do nothing! The worlds largest luxury brand simply offer the worlds worse customer service!

Rude ignorant staff member who was more interested in texting on her phone than serving me. Refused to show me another item I was interested in and whilst texting told me to wait downstairs whilst she packed up my original purchase. Manager uninterested, put a sample aftershave in as an apology. Got several LV bags scarves and jewellery but after this experience wont be buying any more. Totally unacceptable unbelievably rude.

Worst online service ever even received.

Made a high value order an anniversary gift for the wife

LV Cancelled the order without explanation via email next day

I Had to call to ask why

Informed it’s a glitch I had to reorder and made payment again

They Cancelled again it again

I was then asked to make a bank transfer & told to select same billing n shipping address

Not ideal as we have two addresses and so had to deliver it to the one where card was registered but not where we stay.

So after online payments
Phone calls
Emails / payment links

They finally delivered the order but LATE missing the anniversary date and even worse yet

They Forgot to write the personalized anniversary message and sent a blank gift card

Upon informing them of this via email they said and I quote “it must have been a human error or system glitch nevertheless a blank gift card was sent”

Honestly baffled to say the least they think that it’s quite ok to miss such important things after multiple payments communications and payments

Never buy from their online website.

My son wanted to buy a LV scarf with all his birthday money, this was his first trip to Louis Vuitton.
The lady who helped serve us was rude and uninterested in helping us (maybe wasn't spending enough money for her liking) and made no conversation.
I would not recommend shopping here, we crossed the road to Christian Dior to look around after and the customer service was a completely different level even offering us drinks while we browsed

Visited the New Bond Street branch as selfridges advised the item I wanted was in stock there. Upon entering was asked the reason for my visit and for my face mask by the greeter, advised I was exempt. The greeter then called a SA to assist who then approached and shouted face mask I advised I was exempt and so did the greeter but the SA refused to help me. So the greeter took my name and number and told me to wait. During this time a Caucasian male enters with no face mask and no one says a word to him he’s not even asked the reason for his visit but is allowed to freely roam around the store. Eventually a SA assistant named Hanin came over to help me who was very polite and professional compared to the rest of the staff. Though when I looked up the greeter decided to position herself to watch me and not the door during the whole time I was being assisted. When I eventually made my purchase of two bags and went to leave the greeter eventually turned around to continue to watch the door with horror on her face that I’d actually bought something. Given the fact I was wearing designer items already I can only assume she was watching me so closely because I was the only black person in the store. As the rest of the customers were freely roaming without being watched.
