I have gone to two other colleges before going to Los Angeles Mission College (LAMC). None of the other two colleges welcomed me the way LAMC did. I have always struggled to apply to college and enroll so I decided to go in person and get assistance. Since LAMC was the third school I visited I was anxious I was going to leave the campus without receiving the help I needed. I had a few questions in mind, but I knew I was not prepared with enough to ask. I walked into the Student Services Center; this is where I got the most help from. They informed me about recourses I didn't even know existed. It seems so easy for someone to do it on their own but for a very long time I was struggling trying to start college, it mostly comes from the number of times I would procrastinate. Knowing that I had support from the school and others was what motivated me to become part of LAMC. I will soon start my very first class this week and I'm so excited!
my overall experience has been great. I can’t complain the diversity. I’ve seen it to school. The professors are easy to talk to very communicative making it easier for every student if I could get my masters here I would but unfortunately I have to transfer. This will be my last year mission, which I’m so sad about.
Los Angeles Mission College is a good institution for students seeking higher education due to its diverse academic programs, strong student support services, vibrant campus life, and dedicated faculty and staff.
