July 6, 1923 - October 21, 2021 Lois Josephine Garner, 1923-2021, lovely wife of James Garner has passed. Lois and James were married 58 years until James passed at home in 2014.They had one child, Greta. Daughter Kimberly was from an early-in-life marriage to Keith Clarke.Lois was raised in sun-kissed LA California. She was the Daughter of Samuel Hillis Fleischman and Sarah Doltz. Her beloved sister Joyce preceded her in passing.Lois was a serious art history collector. Her favorite piece was a hunting tapestry called "The Hunts Maxmillion." It depicts a hunt scene with baronial figures on horseback and on foot with dogs in pursuit, XV11 Century.One of Lois's closest friends describes her,"She appreciated small things, like a perfect cup of coffee, a beautiful salad and the roses from her garden." We miss and love you dear one-of-a-kind Lois.There will be a private memorial at her home in Brentwood, Ca.

Sorry for your loss. Although I never met your family it is still sad. My family was talking about it today. And we wanted to express our sympathy. My wife´s grandfather Billy Martin was from Norman Oklahoma. And new James growing up. He had told us a story about dating James sister. Billy has since passed so I have no way of checking his story but for us there has always been a little connection to your family, although it is a little stretch. We hope you are well and you are in our thoughts.
