How to create local area network (LAN) in windows 10?

Hi AlifAl,

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

Is your system connected under a domain network?

If your computer has a network adapter that is connected to a local area network, you do not need to manually create a LAN connection, because Windows automatically creates and configures the connection when you start your computer.

You need to contact your Internet Service Provider.

Create a Local Area Network (LAN) connection:

In future, if you have any issues related to Windows, do get back to us. We will be happy to assist you.

I know how to create or join homegroup.

I need a network in order to create or join homegroup. How can I create a network on windows 10 which I can use for sharing files by creating or joining homegroup?

In windows 7, I went to network and sharing center and then created a new network (Local Area Network) without any cables or wires or devices. But in windows 10 I can't find that option. How can I create a Local Area Connection?
