Certainly, Dolly Parton is one of the beloved public figures in America. But she has a pet peeve: Too many animals don’t have a home. Of course, as someone who never rests on her laurels, Parton is doing something about the problem.

Accordingly, Parton announced new pet apparel, accessories, and toy line that will raise money for animal rescue efforts.
The hilariously named “Doggy Parton” brand features a long list of even funnier products sure to delight dogs and their owners alike. Examples include a pink cowgirl hat with a tiara, a gingham bandana, and a rhinestone spoiled pink body harness.
Taking the cake, though, are Doggy Parton’s squeaky toys. They include:

Dolly Parton Limitless Love For Animals
Some proceeds from sales of the products will go to Willa B. Farms, a nonprofit devoted to rescuing and rehabilitating animals. Like Parton, the organization is also based in Tennessee.
Parton said in a statement issued Wednesday that Willa B. Farms is “a rescue where animals in need find never-ending love. Don’t we all need that?”
She further elaborated on what prompted her to launch Doggy Parton.
“‘Puppy Love’ was my very first record and 6 decades later, my love for pets is stronger than ever,” she said. “This inspired me to start my own line of Doggy Parton apparel, accessories, toys and more with a little ‘Dolly’ flair.”
In other Dolly Parton news, she is among the 14 acts who will be inducted into the 2022 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame later this year. This year’s induction ceremony will take place on Nov. 5 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
