Season One of the animated superhero fantasy series Justice League aired on Cartoon Network for twenty-six episodes between November 17th, 2001 and November 9th, 2002. The episodes aired on Saturday evenings at 10:30 pm EST. Each storyline from the season comprised multiple episodes, usually two, and totalled twelve story-arcs altogether. All twenty-six episodes of season one were collected on the four-disc Justice League: Season OneDVD by Warner Home Video. The series features the greatest superheroes of the DC Animated Universe including Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash, Green Lantern, the Martian Manhunter and Hawkgirl. Stationed aboard their orbiting satellite, the Justice League protect the Earth and fight up against the forces of evil including the likes of Solomon Grundy, the Ultra-Humanite, the Ocean Master, Etrigan the Demon and Felix Faust.
Both the season premiere and the season finale were three-part episodes which aired on the same nights. The three-part "Secret Origins" episode aired on November 17th, 2001 and the three-part "The Savage Time" episodes aired on November 9th, 2002. All other episodes from the season were two-part stories.
