What travelers are saying
- Dramus P1 contributionThis collection of automotive racing historical items is definitely worth a visit. The facility is top notch and the collection is displayed in a way that is easy to navigate and view. My family of four stopped on our way home to WI from Denver Colorado. We were pleased that the modest admission fee was structured so that it doesn't deter families with children from taking the tour. My son and I love learning about automotive history and appreciate being able to see things like this in person. The collection ranges from lunch boxes and pedal cars, to race car engines and complete race cars. With three floors on display and an expansion under way, be sure to plan on spending some time here. I would say this museum is similar in quality to the Auburn Duesenburg and Cord museum in Indiana or the Gilmore in Michigan. I only wished for a bit more written information about some of the displays. Over all a great place to check out.Written January 24, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- Andrew LLincoln, NE3 contributionsI've been to many of the great buildings in the US and Europe. The NE state capitol in Lincoln has a place among the most spectacular. It is resplendent in detail and monumentally constructed. There are spacious halls, ornate gilded murals, and sequestered alcoves throughout. You can ascend to the top just to below the dome. If you are impressed at all by architecture, you will be moved and never forget it.Written March 6, 2024This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Mitch MPlano, TX96 contributionsWe stopped here for half an hour to take some pictures and weren't disappointed. Beautiful flowers and plants all around, plus some small paths to walk, some statues, and small ponds make it a good place to relax for a bit. Worth checking out if you want to get outside in Lincoln.Written September 5, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - CarolFromDallasDallas, TX105 contributionsReally great park and people. We visited the nature centers and talked with the staff and then hiked around the park. Grass, plants and land were just amazing. The buildings house several exhibits of living and preserved animal, plant and geological artifacts along with descriptions that tell about their place in the local natural landscape. The volunteers were also very knowledgable and we had enjoyable conversations with them about the current season, the migrations, and commonalities and differences in the Nebraska prairie ecological regions versus our own native regions. Highly recommend.Written August 15, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
- RLCZ70Grand Island, NE716 contributionsExcellent zoo - great for all ages, not just children, giraffes, cheetahs, tiger, red panda, bobcat, monkeys, camels, goats, tortoise, butterflies, birds, etc. Train circles zoo, great gift shop, friendly staff. You can pay $5 to feed the giraffes lettuce which is super fun.Written September 1, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. - Rathbun21Stewartville, MN3 contributionsMy kids had such a great time here! They are 5 and 7… and were entertained by all the fun things. Three full floors of activities. A cute bank, dentist, vet, restaurant, Hyvee store, and so much more. Not many staff around for “clean up” so a little disorganized in a few places. But would def recommend! - lisaegan4Forest Park, IL11 contributionsStopped by here when we were in Lincoln overnight on a road trip from California back home to Chicago. What an awesome brewery! So many great beers. And LOVE the oppty to buy the stickers of past brews. Definitely recommend and wish Lincoln wasn't so far from Chicago, if only for this place. Extra thanks to the bartender who filled up all those beers for us to take with. Sorry I didn't catch his name, but I bet he remembers us. LOT of work on the night of August 17th.Written August 27, 2023This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. Tripadvisor performs checks on reviews.
