Terrible company. Customer service and corporate have denied any refunds Ive been eligible for, and have spent months denying any inquiries when trying to get in-contact with the presidential liaison team.

I was told Id be refunded for my TV (which has never been able to connect to the internet), and have spent over 2 months trying to close my case out for a TV model I purchased with a published manufacturing defect. Ive had technicians come to my home as well with a failed repair that damaged things even further.. Now my TV cant even recognize my WiFi device. Many of the UK modeled devices have a defective WiFi belt fabricated inside, and haven't been able to receive and transmit internet connection properly since I purchased it out the box from Costco.

The company has lied to me about promising a refund, and at this point I have more than enough evidence to escalate this issue with the Better Business Bureau. I have text messages and voice recordings also to prove their false promises in refunding me after filling out the necessary forms and credentials showing proof of purchase with a receipt. I have followed all the necessary guidelines, and by now they have stopped following up on my case completely. Not to mention, whenever the presidential liaison team calls me back they hang up the phone immediately and state they attempted to get in contact with me.

Im pretty much at a loss now ..

I cant stress enough how terrible their customer service is. Company is a complete scam, and they do everything in their power to not make "Life Good" for you.

LG Support does not know their products and compatibility with other LG products.

Reached out to LG support via Facebook to check the compatibility of rear speakers and an existing sound bar. LG support confirmed compatibility.

Made the purchase of rear speakers as a Xmas gift.

Attempted to connect the new rear speakers to the existing sound bar and my surprise they would not wirelessly connect and there was not a wired connection option. Reached back out to LG support to address the lack of connectivity who had me doing and trying different things for over 2 weeks. After about 3 weeks in this hamster wheel of telling me that the two units were compatible and trying different things to connect the 2 units, I was finally told that they realized that the two units were NOT compatible.

At this point, I realize that I am also past the return date at Best Buy which is where I purchased from. I only find this out when I go into return as that is a separate issue and review.

Best Buy accommodates me the best they can since I am after the 2-week holiday return policy and provides me with a gift card for the full amount of my purchase. The gift card is of no use to me as I typically do not shop at this store and have not made a purchase in over 10 years there before this one.

I reached out to LG to explain my issues with the return and not being granted a refund to my debit account and request that LG refund the monies. I would have been more than willing to send LG the Best Buy gift card had they issued a refund. I am not looking to receive a double refund but would like my refund to my debit card so that I can purchase my mother-in-law a new Christmas Gift.

I was told by the text customer support that a presidential liaison would be able to decide to refund me my money and that what I am requesting is not unreasonable. (I have all the messages from day 1 when I reached out before Christmas).

After several more weeks of asking LG support when will I receive a call from the presidential liaison, and be told that the case was closed and that they reached out? I got an actual text message asking how my service was with the presidential liaison that I just talked with. I DID NOT EVER TALK WITH A PRESIDENTIAL LIAISON at this point!

I again reached out to support, and another week went by, and I got a text from Chasity who identifies herself as a presidential liaison.

When I received this text, I asked that they call as I have been stuck in this hamster wheel of messages and texts with LG and that it should not be a business protocol to text an individual about a complaint and ongoing issue. The next text I received stated "Calling" When I received the call Chasity told me that all she could offer would be a service call. For what? There is nothing that a service call would have done to rectify the issue of connectivity if the units were NOT compatible and I no longer have the unit, I have a useless me Bust Buy gift card.

When I bring this to her attention, she then offers me a 15% coupon towards future purchases. What would ever make this woman think that I would make another LG purchase again in my lifetime after all the issues with this one is mind-boggling. Not to mention this 15% is less than what I would get if I made a normal purchase.

When I could see that I was not getting anywhere and Chasity had the knowledge and common sense of a brick of soap, I asked for her supervisor or manager. Chasity let me know that she is the supervisor and there is no one higher than herself.

I asked who the owner of LG is if it's a board of individuals or a single person. At this point, Chasity reminded me that all LG calls are recorded and that this call is not being resolved so she is going to end the call and hung up. Thats rightHUNG UP ON ME.

I was not yelling, not making rude or disrespectful comments which were certainly warranted but continued to ask to talk with her manager or escalate this issue above her department.

I sit still in the same position I have been an unresolved issue, LG employees not having any clue, a Best Buy Gift Card that is worthless to myself and my mother-in-law, and my issue not resolved. Beware of LG they do not know about the products they sell, and their customer service is terrible, maybe the worst I've ever experienced.

1.April 29, 2023: Purchased LG WT7505CW 5.3CF TL Washer from Best Buy with extended warranty.

2.February 1, 2024: Reported issues to Geek Squad customer service - knocking sound, dry clothes, incorrect time estimates.

3.February 8, 2024: First visit from Geek Squad technician Kyle, ordered parts.

4.February 15, 2024: Second visit, gearbox and clutch motor replaced.

5.February 16, 2024: "LE" error message appeared, excessive filling. Contacted Geek Squad again.

6.February 24, 2024: Third visit from Geek Squad, ordered another part.

7.February 28, 2024: Fourth visit, installed new part, issues persisted.

8.February 29, 2024: Informed by LG customer service that I should have contacted LG directly.

9.March 1, 2024: Visit from LG technician Donald, ordered more parts.

10.March 5, 2024: Received suspension parts.

11.March 6, 2024: No communication from LG, contacted chat support.

12.March 8, 2024: Contacted chat support again, same information provided.

13.March 12, 2024: Called LG's 1-800 number, assured a call within 24 hours.

14.March 14, 2024: No communication received.

Also, per Facebook messenger they advised me that the part that is needed to fix my unit is about to be discontinued.

15.Lack of resolution and communication, disappointed with LG's customer service.

Sent on 3/20/2024: Expressed disappointment with lack of communication from Gena, LG's Presidential Liaison. Followed up multiple times, received no response. Sent pictures of receipt, still no response from Gena.

I am not getting anywhere with LG's Facebook messenger as they keep telling me that my case has been escalated to their Presidential Liaison team. Seeking assistance.

Its been 3 months, I have been waiting for my cooktop model#CBGJ3023S and everytime I call they keep saying that it was on back order. What kind of back order it that!?

Last time I called they put me on the phone with someone that work in LG and they said that it was ready to be delivered yet when I kept calling they are saying the same thing that it was on back order. All events and holidays have gone worse because we couldnt cook anything without a cooktop which impacted our whole family and they dont seem to care about their costumers.

Its the last *** time Im ordering something from them. Im *** done.

First of all I had to pay $2300 (Lowes-massive mistake) for a product I really didnt like because it was Covid time and you had to take what you could get. My other appliance choices were LG so I moved ahead with the refrigerator.

It was built so cheaply, a yogurt container fell on the bottom and broke a plastic part, happened twice so ridiculously thin plastic. Its shameful. The design is terrible, didnt they Consumer tested? You cant even get the bins and the glass partitions out easily.

Designed by somebody who never interfaces and cleans a refrigerator. The refrigerator is so noisy. Its ridiculous. Im so disgusted with the range and the refrigerator.

Ill never buy anything LG again. My next house, this was a flup house, going back to inexpensive but efficient Whirlpool, which was indestructible and did it for less than half the price of the very cheap LG product

Defective junk with zero support. Robbed of $1600+

LG's customer service is so bad that I had to escalate my complaint to the president's office.

After a very slow response, I provided proof of purchase to the president's liaison, Jarmaine Brown. was repeatedly promised a response within 24-48 hours; however, I have been waiting for several weeks.

The social media team stopped responding after assuring me that they would continually follow up on my complaint (there is no indication they ever did. I've spoken to numerous agents via chat and phone, all of whom promise a call back within 24 hours. It doesn't happen.

They're lying to me every time I speak to them. LG owes me about $1600 for a defective projector that can't be serviced as there are no parts available a mere 2 years from manufacture date.

Unless I'm immediately refunded I'll spend the rest of my life writing complaints about LG.

I'll seek to start another class action against them. Legal action seems to be the only thing they respond to.

Horrible company.

Exploding LG washer - Claim # RNN231201****78

My 2.5 year old $2000 - LG signature washing machine exploded approximately 2.5 weeks ago. If anyone of my family was in the laundry room when this happened they would have been seriously hurt or killed.

The walls of my laundry room and my Maytag dryer were damaged. A technician came to the house on 12/1/23 and since then I have to go through LG chatbox to get any feedback.

I had a new washing machine delivered but it could not be installed as the LG washer exploded and is now 42" wide at the lower half and can not go through the laundry room door without damaging it. The delivery company says LG needs to send someone to disassemble it or panel beat it to make it smaller. They will return to install the new machine but there will be a service charge.

In the interim I am having family clothes laundered and running up a bill.

I saw on You-Tube a news article with another customer about his exploded machine so this is not new with LG machines. It seems that something this serious should have better customer support from LG.

How do I get this taken care of? Do I have to be on the news as well?

Refrigerator compressor broke and won't reimburse me

We purchased the LRFCS25D3S from Best Buy and it was delivered on July 1, 2021. Had I known there was a class action lawsuit against LG for refrigerator compressors not working, then I would have NEVER bought this thing.

The notorious LG refrigerator broke on December 16, 2023.

I called LG to set up the repair and they said they would send a tech in 3-5 business days. An appointment was made with the tech and they NEVER showed up for that appointment. We found their contact information and called them. They didn't even apologize for the no call no show, then said they would have to order a new compressor and it could take weeks.

We didn't hear back from them until January 2024. Two days before Christmas, we were tired of waiting for the tech and called LG to see if we could get someone on our own to come repair the refrigerator, pay out of pocket and be reimbursed completely for the repair. At no point did ANY of the customer service agents, during any of my 10+ calls mention that I would only be eligible for a partial reimbursement. Since it was a weekend call and two days before Christmas, the out of pocket repair came out to $1,284.

The repair didn't happen until a few days AFTER Christmas.

We have three children and cook ALL of our meals at home. We also had two Christmas parties planned, with food already purchased, that we had to CANCEL, and LOST all of the food. We had to throw ALL of it away. Hundreds of dollars worth of food was lost.

I have the receipts from all purchases that were made right before the refrigerator broke and all purchases made after it was fixed to restock all of the food.

I sent the invoice for the repair, which was an issue in itself. A supervisor approved the refund and at NO point did that supervisor say they were only refunding $695 of the $1,284 we had to pay to fix it. I received the check for $695 and called two more times. I have been told to wait 24 hours for a call back and then again to wait 6-8 business days to see IF the rest of my reimbursement will be approved by some backend office.

Had I known I would not be reimbursed for the full amount, I would have never had it repaired and just bought a new one and had LG take this one back.

I am now waiting for someone to call me back, which won't happen. I will be calling again. I am out $589 for the repair reimbursement and over $700 worth of food. I am looking into legal action at this point, since this has been the worst customer experience I have ever received and have been forced to pay for something that is the fault of LG.

I am a B2B customer service manager for a Fortune 500 company, so I know how these processes work.

The run around I have been given should never have escalated this far and it is unacceptable.

My mother-in-law and best friend also purchased this same refrigerator, since they liked mine so much. They are now afraid the same issue will happen with theirs and I have recommended trying to return theirs and getting a different brand.

I talk today to Porsche from the elite presidential team at LG electronics and she basically laughed in my face and told me they weren't going to help me at all, because I was outside of their 5 year window, For a compressor on one of their refrigerators, that they know it is bad, and they're just hoping that suckers like me will buy their products. You would think that a company that makes billions of dollars a year would help out one of their loyal customers that has over $10,000 worth of appliances from LG in their home.

2nd complaint about contacting LG. I reached the fire hazard technicians dep. He wanted me to send pics of the aftermath of the incinerated LG smartphone. So I sent them successfully and he repeatedly responded that the pics I sent to him did not make it to the phone he instructed me to. So I sent them again and then again a different way and then I herd nothing from him and he sent a %10 off all LG electronics link with a picture of LG... C'mon now...for that tech. to think I'm dumb enough to believe he didn't receive the pics I sent is insulting.
So far LG Corp. is doing exactly what I new that they would do about they're dangerous product and careless response to claiming responsibility for terrifying experience I had with they're so called smartphone. I could have died along with many other people in the apartment building, 2:30 a.m.! By the grace of God...is THEE ONLY REASON...I was able to put out that white hot flame that made a hissing sound while bellowing dark grey nasty smelling toxic smoke. Actually, the sulfur like flames only stop when it burns threw all of that volatile chemical in they're phone battery.
Also they know us consumers only have so much time to throw away dealing with contacting back and forth, back and forth and waiting...and navigating threw a sea of wrong numbers and departments and its beyond *** and far beyond what any customer should have to endure. I would love some kind of guidance or avenues to take by anyone willing to help. It'd be a good deed for you and also protects the next person that might be asleep when their LG smartphone burst into flames and instantly sets fire to everything around it. I thank you in advance and I am grateful to pissedconsumer.com and staff for not giving up so easily because that's what the LG Corp. wants.

Delivery issue

Hi, My name is Ketankumar Patel. My refrigerator broke on 03/20.

I purchased the refrigerator 03/21. I scheduled for next available ASAP delivery to be on 03/30. When the staff came for delivery, they noticed that we have few stairs in house, and said they could bring the refrigerator up with 2 people but will not be liable for any damage that it may cause or else we need 3 people to make this happen so reschedule delivery. before this date, house was not assessed for possible needs of delivery.

9-days of delays till now. On 03/30 I followed up, possible rescheduled delivery date given 04/01. On 04/01, we received link to reschedule delivery, next available date showing is 04/04/24, So I called LG on 04/01 to expedite delivery for 04/02 due to uncertainty if I can be home for next 10days. Reschedule delivery date set for 04/02 with note specifically needing of 3 people for delivery.

On 04/02 morning delivery canceled stating do not have 3 people to deliver. Online next reschedule date is 04/04. All the time they promised to delivery we have to stay home and keep calling them, waste of time after spending money to get it delivered ASAP and reschedule wife's induction date to deliver baby based on this, regardless it can happen anytime with this uncertainty we would like to get it delivered ASASP. UNBELIEVABLE, STILL AWAITING.HOW HARD IS IT TO DELIVER.

Today marks 13 days without refrigerator, we could has easily order from different place if we would have known of this due to time sensitivity. I thought coming directly from LG rather than third party, expected for smooth and asap service rather its dreading and feeling stuck.

My LG dishwasher is only 18 months old. The main motor failed - no problem with 10 year warranty.

Not so fast, the motor fail caused the motor wiring harness to burn up. Called LG service and was terrible service experience, so i called their authorized local service provided D&T Appliance. They were awesome. The service tech told me that the motor was covered under warranty but not the harness, which cost more than the motor.

He suggested that I make a case to LG - which I did. After several chat sessions with LG (also not a great experience) they said no coverage on the harness even though it was damaged by the motor fail.

Cost more than half the price of the dishwasher to get the repair done. I will never buy an LG appliance again - poor warranty and poor customer service experience.

If my flatscreen tv is NOT repaired by a warranty because it has run out, and my tv is not repaired under some kind of warranty, I will NEVER EVER REPAIR it, and PURPOSELY point IT out to anyone and everyone who sees my tv perform!!! This is a terrible company. Their customer service is complete *** The techs they send out to fix their refrigerator under warranty are not trained. Avoid any of their products. The cheap prices are a trap. They are selling junk and then have a huge problem with you when you want them to honor their warranty.
