All in all, one thing that caught my attention first was the real jobs most of these guys hold.
This season was for occupational people.

Idiots

Nobody said BBN is a bad thing, we only said it's a distraction to the youth especially in a third-world country like Nigeria, We need to engage ourselves in more productive things that will propel the country to be in the Same standard as The so called Canada Economic wise

Canada is a first-world country, Same with America and other European country, They literally have less things to worry about, They have Stable economy, Stable electricity, Good hospitals, good roads, Low unemployment rate, they have the best cities

Same can't be said for NIGERIA, Providing ordinary Power supply is like a magic to your leaders, We don't even have good schools let alone of Good hospitals, Our roads are death traps, Do we even have cities?? NO

This is the reason we said BBN is a distraction in Nigeria, Now the youths, Instead of going out in Millions to protest about the bad economy, They'll rather stay back at home and watch BBN that adds nothing to their lives

They defend themselves with ridiculous lines like "We'll get shot by police, If we protest'"

But the truth is that Police and Soldiers are not half of the population of Nigeria, If the youth troops out in Millions, These Soldiers will be overwhelmed and will finally succumb!!

But NO, the youths will rather Stay at home watching BBN and defend themselves with stupid lines!

Lately there have been a lot of criticism concerning Big Brother Naija.
Some went as far as saying that those watching or supporting the show are irresponsible and jobless.

I created this thread to show Nigerians that we are not the only one organizing Big Brother. Countries like Canada also organize Big Brother.
Would we say that the Canadians watching and supporting BBCAN are irresponsible and jobless?

Here is Big Brother Canada Season 8 that took place early this year in Canada.

Big Brother Canada 8 is the eighth season of the Canadian reality television series Big Brother Canada.
The season premiered with a two-night premiere on March 4–5, 2020, on Global and was expected to end on May 21 with the live finale.

The season was planned to run for a total of 83 days. However, on March 24, 2020, Big Brother Canada announced an early end to production on the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada, with the season finale airing on April 1, 2020.

All filming ceased on March 24.

The CA$100,000 prize that would have gone to the winner went to a COVID-19 relief charity.

In an emotional farewell episode for Season 8 of Big Brother Canada, Global and Insight Productions revealed that, in light of an early end to production with no winner crowned, this season’s $100,000 grand prize will be donated to charities responding to COVID-19.

Let’s take a tour of Big Brother Canada Season 8 facilities.

Least I forgot. Big Brother Canada Season 9 application is ongoing. If you’d be 19 or older by 1st February, 2021 and you’re interested to join, simply visit their website and follow the instructions given.
The audition would be virtual.
Deadline for application is Friday, November 21, 2020.
Best of luck!

It's still stvpid the kind of attention bbn get here. Canada na rich country where the youths can afford to relax and still have society doing a lot for them. Nigeria's case different. It's good to relax by watching things like bbn but the attention it gets here shows that with our kind of youths, Nigeria going nowhere unless we the youths change. We watch too much nonsense and are not knowledgeable on things that matter. Check out the nonsense contents in our Nollywood or even nairaland here. Nigeria's youths always run from discussion that needs exposure and knowledge.
BigBrother is in US too but not popular at allll! It gets just about 4million viewers per season in America. Check 100 most popular TV shows in America. BigBrother is not among. And that's what ignorant youths are dying for in Nigeria. cheesy

How many whites do watch big brother compare to blacks?

do you think all white men will waste their precious times on a show that wouldn't add any impact to them? most of the whites that watch the show are the elderly ones or those who have free time, whites don't even vote the way Nigerians does, they know what to do with their money.
Many of them do, just view their facebook page alone to see

Quite frankly the way you people analyse things is very shallow.
As a country, are we on par with Canada in terms of standard of living?

Also, only a fraction of the population of Canada are keen on the Big brother show. Will you say the same thing about Nigeria?

So if an advanced and well developed country decides to spend it's time CHILLING, a struggling and underdeveloped country should follow the same blueprint abi?

The bold sentence is not intelligent. You see, Canada is an advanced nation with well-organised socio-economic system, that is sustaining highly responsible citizens. You cannot say the same for Nigeria. Nigeria is not even developing; she's crawling and struggling with stunt growth. This means, we have a difference case here: as a struggling nation, without value system in place to create and sustain similar economic and social atmosphere in Canada, Nigerians are supposed to be hardworking, industrious, focus, and reality show such as BBN doesn't add any value to this supposed dream.
At a time like this, young Nigerians should be brainstorming on how to take power from their slave master, and not be wasting it on BBN. In my opinion, Canada is not on the same scale with Nigeria. Nigeria is doing many things wrong at the wrong time, and BBN is one of them.

Then how does all of this got to affect the show...

Because I just don't understand. Is BBN a government funding program?

It's an entertainment and if u don't like it well and fine, do your own.

Is the show the reasons for the the above problem stated by you?

If BBN is stop, how will that affect the above problem...

Since most of us worship the whites, I brought this here to show us that the whites also watch and participate in Big Brother. Are they also irresponsible and jobless?

Very rubbish mentality you have there, so because your friend jump cliff you sef go join? The fact you still state most of you worship the white and research this bullcrap just to prove a point clearly shows how jobless and irresponsible you are my friend and you not only worship the white also but you let them bang you from the rear with no vaseline.
