Every body is a bikini body, and for celebrities in particular, all weather is bikini weather – they don't need it to be steaming outside to share a sizzling snap.

Jennifer Lopez is reminding us all that your 50s really are the new 20s.

The 54-year-old singer marked her latest birthday with a series of bikini photos, shared with her 250 million followers on Instagram.

"Happy Monday 💙 Have a great week everyone!" J.Lo captioned a carousel of photos.

The Jenny From the Block singer spent much of her birthday in a swimsuit too, marking the occasion with some time in the sun after celebrating in style at a party.

She also shared details from her birthday bash in her On The J.Lo newsletter with fans.

"Birthday mood… all month!! It's always a good day when Lola comes to play," she wrote.

All the kids were there, it was a gorgeous day full of sunshine and perfect for a pool party!!"

"I felt so appreciated and acknowledged by my loved ones, and I'm extremely grateful to be where I am today at this point in my life's journey with so many beautiful, caring people to share it all with," she added.

"Wishing you all the same love and happiness on your birthday and always!!!"

Lopez turned 54 on July 31 and spent the day with friends and family, including husband Ben Affleck.

After sharing her bikini snaps on Instagram, plenty of her followers offered their gushing compliments.

"I've never seen someone look this damn good at 54, she's stunning," one follower said.

"Dear God, bless me with the funds, the discipline, and the sass to look like this at 54 years of age," another joked.

Elle Macpherson shared a stunning bikini photo to her Instagram story, adding "by popular request" as a caption.

The Aussie model, 59, showed off her new blonde hair in the make-up free selfie, proving that age is simply just a number.

"As I've matured, what I've realised is that it doesn't really matter what I look like, the most important thing is, 'how do I feel?'" she recently told Sunrise.

Gabrielle Union is not putting up with ageism or body shaming anymore.

The actress, 50, is a fan of the humble bikini and didn't mince her words when she spoke about body confidence on a recent podcast.

Union revealed she received some cruel commentary after sharing several holiday snaps onto her Instagram grid.

"Somebody said, "You're old enough to be somebody's grandma, why are you still in – like wearing swimsuits?" Union told Who What Wear with Hillary Kerr.

'I'm like, 'First of all, they're not just swimsuits. They are thong.'

'And you're gonna see these cheeks until my ass literally falls off, and I might just wear a bikini in the casket."

The Bring It On star – who shares four year-old daughter named Kaavia with husband Dwayne Wade – directed her rant at the single Instagram user who left the mean comment.

"I don't know. That just might be for you, for that one commenter..." she added.

"This is for you."

The comments have not stopped Union from baring it all on her Instagram.

Union and her family recently enjoyed a lakeside holiday, where she happily posted several bikini pictures from the getaway. 

"Summer update: us," she wrote.

Luckily, the actress has a few loyal friends and fans who left gushing messages.

"The fact that every single photo was perfection," one wrote.

"Blessed and unbothered sunkissed beauty!" another added.

Salma Hayek celebrated reaching 25 million followers on Instagram by giving the people what they want –– bikini content.

"Thank you soo soo much to every single one of you," the 56-year-old captioned her post.

"Seeing as you all like my bikini pictures the most, here's a bikini workout for you all.

"I hate exercising – but I love to celebrate good moments dancing in the water."

The video shows the Frida star jumping into an indoor pool, and doing various water aerobics exercises, including crunches and side leg kicks.

People were, of course, impressed with her youthful appearance. 

Even Drake weighed in with a comment: "Let's get her to 50M asap."

Heidi Klum has shared a series of sunny, bikini-clad snaps from her family holiday in Italy.

The 50-year-old supermodel included a few photos of her husband Tom Kaulitz in her uploads, as well as videos of her driving a speed boat and dancing while admiring the view.

The model showed off her body in a black and gold Versace bikini as she lounged on the front of their boat.

"Vacanzo romantico," she captioned her snaps, the Italian for "romantic vacation," adding a heart emoji and an Italian flag.

Earlier on their European getaway, the couple were joined by by her three youngest children, Henry, 17, Johan, 16, and Lou, 13, whom she shares with her ex-husband Seal.

Selena Gomez is soaking up the summer sun in Europe – and she's also apparently unfollowing her high-profile friends.

Over the weekend, Gomez, 30, shared a snap of herself to her Instagram Story in a $US121 (approx. $181.30) Solkissed Sabrina One-Piece, which she paired with large gold hoop earrings, on a boat.

It came as eagle-eyed fans noticed the singer-actress-mogul had seemingly unfollowed actress Zendaya, 26, rumoured former flame Zayn Malik, 30, Malik's ex-girlfriend and mother of his child Gigi Hadid, 28, and Hadid's sister (and also ex-girlfriend of The Weeknd, 33, Gomez's ex-boyfriend) Bella Hadid, 26, on Instagram.

It was also reported by fans that Gomez had unfollowed Dua Lipa, 27, but the One Kiss songstress is still on Gomez's following list.

Gomez's fans were quick to speculate as to the reasoning behind her apparent mass unfollowing, with some pointing to a potential feud – Gomez and Malik, after all, did spark romance rumours earlier this year after they were spotted on what appeared to be a date, however, she later confirmed her relationship status as "single" in a June 8 TikTok video.

A 'feud' with the Hadid sisters and Malik would be interesting to say the least, considering the fact that both Gigi Hadid and Gomez are considered among Taylor Swift's closest friends.

An inside source, however, later denied rumours of a feud, telling People: "There are absolutely no hard feelings with anyone she unfollowed."

Notably, Gomez does still follow her long-rumoured frenemy Hailey Bieber.

Dua Lipa wowed her Instagram followers after sharing some snaps donning an expensive designer bikini.

The New Rules singer, 27, wore a $725 (approx. $1060) Versace-branded bikini for the mini photoshoot.

"My summer outfit until further notice 🦋," she captioned the snap.

The bikini is a piece from Dua Lipa's Versace La Vacanza collection with Italian fashion designer Donatella Versace.

The pop star shared the swimsuit photos to her 88 million followers and plenty returned the favour with gushing comments.

"Hottest woman alive," one said. "No words," another added.

Former Spice Girl Mel B (real name Melanie Brown) and her daughter Phoenix have taken part in a sweet mother-daughter photoshoot for a swimwear and lingerie brand.

The Wannabe singer, 48, and her 24-year-old daughter looked fierce in a number of stunning snaps from British brand Pour Moi's latest campaign.

Mel and Phoenix sampled several pieces of swimwear and bold bikinis for the campaign, which is titled 'Own Your Confidence'.

Phoenix was a dazzling lookalike of her famous mum during the photoshoot.

And the newly-minted model resembles her famous mother in more than just looks.

Speaking about the lingerie and bikini launch to Pour Moi, Mel said her daughter is a big fan of her old Spice Girl costumes.

"My daughter Phoenix is never happier than when she is rummaging around in my Spice Girl wardrobe – which she calls my vintage wardrobe – and I still wear catsuits, leopard pints and everything I wore back then!" she laughed.

"And I can still get into most of them!"

Speaking to Women's Health, the author and musician said she was proud to be a part of a shoot which advocates for "feeling fabulous, feeling confident, and celebrating women of all shapes, sizes, and ages"

"It's about being real, not being edited and not taking ourselves too seriously," Mel told the magazine.

She added: "That's why this shoot is particularly important to me to come together with my daughter or my mum and just show that unity."

Mel said the campaign also prompted her to reflect on her time as part of the world's biggest pop band in the 1990s.

"Back in the 90s there were less women who looked like me in the public eye and now there is a much bigger melting pot," she told the brand Pour Moi.

"We just need to relax and stop putting pressure on ourselves. We need to think less about being thin and more about being fit, we need to honour our bodies and appreciate everything they do for us even if it's something as silly as looking at ourselves in the mirror and telling ourselves we are beautiful."

Thirty years after she slipped it on for the first time, and 25 since she was last seen on television wearing it, Pamela Anderson is once again in her iconic red Baywatch swimsuit.

Well, it's not the actual swimsuit from the show – though she has been open about the fact that she still has it, it still fits, and she still likes wearing it – rather, she's teamed up with swimsuit brand Frankies Bikinis to design her first ever swimwear line, which includes a red one-piece inspired by her famous lifeguard uniform.

Anderson, 55, also posed for a series of snaps wearing other designs, shared by the brand's Instagram account.

Anderson wrote on Instagram as she announced the swimwear collaboration: "After all… It's about time – I have been so excited to share this with you – I'm horrible at keeping a secret – Time went so slowly…But today after a long year – I can tell you All my favorite ideas and tricks of the trade – All mixed into my swimwear collaboration with [Frankies Bikinis] – A dream come true – And who better to do this with than the sweetest girl from Paradise Cove (@francescaaiello) She grew up before my eyes, with my boys – our story is authentic and unique. The collection is available to shop on May 4 in the United States, with fans praising Anderson's designs as "perfect" and "genius".

One fan had a particularly pointed message following Hulu's controversial Pam & Tommy series...

"Yesssss! It's about time Pamela can profit from her iconic image instead of someone else," one fan commented on Anderson's collaboration announcement.

Anderson, who released a memoir and documentary on her own terms earlier this year, has been outspoken about her voice and agency being taken away from her, especially when it comes to retellings of her relationship with Tommy Lee, and the sex tape leaked without her consent.

Real Housewives of New York alum Luann de Lesseps has hit back at critics who say she's too old to wear a bikini.

The 57-year-old reality star has defended photos she shared to Instagram earlier this week – in which she wore a pink and white gingham bikini – in a fiery video uploaded days later.

In response to someone who had written, "Way too old boo!!!!!!!" under de Lesseps' post, she had some defiant words to say, starting with the caption: "Haters gonna hate boo! 🙄🤸🏽‍♂️".

But her defense continued in the footage.

"I'm proud of the fact that I can still rock a bikini at this age," de Lesseps said in the video.

"Women should be able to wear whatever they want at any age, as long as they feel good," she continued.

"So be cool, don't be all like, uncool."

Demi Moore is not waiting around for the summer, taking to Instagram to post a sizzling bikini picture featuring her adorable chihuahua Pilaf.

The actress' leopard print bikini was quick to capture attention.

"You don't age!" one comment read amongst a drove of compliments for the star.

"Pilaf takes the beach," Demi captioned the snaps, with her daughter Tallulah calling her "Gorgeous."

The 60-year-old actress is a mum of three and soon-to-be grandma, with her eldest daughter Rumer Willis announcing her pregnancy December last year.

Willis has shared that her parents are over the moon that she will soon be welcoming the next generation of their family.

In an interview, Rumer, who is an actress herself, told People "[My parents] are so excited. My sisters are so excited, and it's so fun to be bringing in the first grandkid in our family, especially because we're such a huge group at this point."

Demi Moore herself has expressed her excitement.

"Entering my era of crazy, unhinged, hot grandma," she said on social media.
