Kaneda was controlling a mentally intact Hatsumi throughout the fight

Agito was recovering from a concussion, hovering on the edge of consciousness, and as such chose the simplest and quickest moves to stay in the fight (which Gaolang exploited).

As soon as Agito recovered from the concussion he started intelligently selecting his moves, and as such was no longer "sealed" into boxing.

Gaolang can't just randomly seal people into boxing.

Gaolang vs Okubo

"I said we boxing today"

FACT: Gaolang felt bad for making kanoh look like such an amateur. That is why he stopped sealing everything except boxing and decided to use his (much weaker) muay thai.

First one because I'm pretty sure Kanoh lobotomised himself rather than Gaolang did it

facts, if Gaolang could seal people at will it sure would've been useful in stopping Carlos's Capoeira, or even just using it again during the Agito fight.

Okubo noted that the way Kanoh moved indicated he wanted to throw a kick. So if we believe his observation then it was in fact Gaolang who sealed Kanoh (until he adapted).

Fair. My interpretation of that moment was that a kick was the natural next move he would have gone for but he was only allowing himself to use boxing.

But I could just as easily be wrong

I think it's Kanoh who limited himself to using only boxing because he wished to go against Gao with boxing only.

At the beginning of the fight, yes. Afterwards Kanoh when decided to get serious Gaolang used his positioning skills to force Kanoh to keep using only boxing.

I think Kaneda's stuff is mroe impressive but it is wild how people either think Kanoh did that after the first chapter, that Gaolang was only able to do that because Kanoh never tried grappling or that Gaolang was only able to do that due to Kanoh's injuries

I keep wondering how many people have this bad of a reading comprehension
