Leonardo DiCaprio and Gigi Hadid's surprise burgeoning relationship has become romantic, Page Six, E!, and Entertainment Tonight report. Hadid and DiCaprio were photographed sitting close and talking at a Fashion Week party—their first public sighting—in photos run by the Daily Mail. In one shot, taken of the two Monday night, Hadid appears to be leaning in close to talk to DiCaprio.
Additionally, sources spoke to the three outlets about the couple's dynamic—and how things really aren't serious right now.
Multiple sources close to Hadid and DiCaprio told Page Six that they have been spending time together for months with friends but are now spending some time one-on-one, too. They’ve “mostly [hung] out with groups and solo a handful of times,” one source said.
The source added that they aren't rushing into anything: “[DiCaprio] is not someone who is in-and-out of relationships. He doesn’t jump around hooking up. They are taking it slow.” DiCaprio only recently broke up with his girlfriend of four years, Camila Morrone, just two months after her 25th birthday.
E!, meanwhile, spoke to a source close to DiCaprio and one close to Hadid about what's really going on between them. Sure, it's not just a friendship, but it's not poised to be anything serious because neither of them want that.
“He's enjoying being single,” the DiCaprio source said, noting that he and Hadid are “not exclusive.”
A source close to Hadid added that “neither of them want a relationship” currently. “Gigi and Leo have hung out multiple times and are into each other. Gigi thinks he's a really cool guy,” the source said. “Majority of their hangouts have stemmed from being in the same social circles at various parties.”
Entertainment Tonight's source confirmed Hadid and DiCaprio are seeing each other now. “Gigi and Leo are dating and into each other,” the source said. They added that Hadid and DiCaprio were spotted together at Casa Cipriani in New York City on Saturday night and “looked very flirty.”
“They were sitting in the dining room area and were canoodling and having a fun night out with each other,” the source said.
This is the first woman DiCaprio has dated, at least publicly, who's over the age of 25, albeit just slightly. Hadid is 27, while DiCaprio is 47.
