So long as the life of the terrorist is held to be inferior to the life of the terrorized, the terrorism will continue. And, as Charles Drago reminds us: “Until the life of the assassin is held to be as sacred as the life of the assassinated, the assassinations will continue.”

Just as a pound of feathers is of the same weight as a pound of sand, the value of a terrorist’s life is equal to the value of any other human’s life. However, that is not to imply that all behavioral choices are morally or ethically equal. They are not. However, this standard, which governs moral and ethical behavior, must apply equally to all irrespective of their stature or lack thereof.

To wit, be it committed by assassins, terrorists, common criminals, or the Deep Political Psycho/Sociopaths of the State: The deliberate taking of any human life–absent an immediate threat of grave physical harm to one’s self or to another human being–is murder.

Likewise, inhumane acts are equally deplorable irrespective of who commits them. This morning I obtained The Report on the Central Intelligence Agency’s Detention and Interrogation Program from the U.S. Senate Select Committee on Intelligence and uploaded it to this server in PDF format for convenient access.
