WellSpan Health will join CNS Occupational Medicine as a vaccine provider at Lebanon County's only county-run mass site for coronavirus vaccinations, located at 1745 Quentin Road, on April 1, the company has said.

The provider also announced the current availability of appointments for phase 1a-eligible people at several of its sites across Adams, Franklin, Lancaster, Lebanon and York counties

WellSpan will be vaccinating people at the Quentin site on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday between 11 a.m and 9 p.m., according to a media release. There are plans to add more dates as more vaccine doses become available. Currently, the vaccine that is going to be used is the one from Pfizer, according to Ryan Coyle, a spokesperson at the company.

Over the course of the first three days, WellSpan expects to distribute more than 1,000 doses. This compares to 3,000 within a three-day period for CNS when it began distribution at the site on March 17.

The vaccine set to be administered by WellSpan at the site is made by Pfizer.

WellSpan also administers coronavirus vaccines in Lebanon County at WellSpan Good Samaritan Hospital, WellSpan Family Medicine - Norman Drive (Lebanon), and WellSpan Family Medicine – North Fourth Street (Lebanon).

All told, the provider has collectively administered more than 15,000 doses and is administering more than 2,000 doses per week at these sites, according to a news release.

The process for the WellSpan Health-Lebanon County partnership vaccination operation requires patients to sign up by visiting MyWellSpan.org or by calling the company's COVID-19 hotline at 855-851-3641. You do not need to be a WellSpan patient.

The company is not part of the standby process being used by CNS, but WellSpan does have a process in place of reaching out to individuals if there are any unused doses at the end of the day, according to Coyle.
