Today, Happy Death Day 2 U is available to watch online (via iTunes and Amazon Prime) and on Blu-ray/DVD on 14 May. It will also be available for rental (iTunes, Amazon, Redbox). Go out and see it today!

Coming to a movie theater near you, Happy Death Day 2 U is a sequel to Happy Death Day, yes, but this time around instead of campy horror time loops, this one is more in the science fiction side of things involving traveling through time campy horror time loops.

Such a blast for Laura to work on and shoot in New Orleans with Chris, Charles, Ruby, and Jessica — as well as the rest of the cast and crew.

Today, Happy Death Day is available to buy from the Apple iTunes store and on Amazon Prime. It will be available for rental (iTunes, Amazon, Redbox, etc.) as well as DVD and Blu-ray purchase on 16 Jan.

And be sure to watch the extras — even if you've seen the movie, you're never going to guess whodunnit in the original ending!

And it seems like it will knock Bladerunner 2049 out of the top spot this weekend. Plus, the reviewers are loving it too. Laura's so excited about being a part of this movie.

Monday morning edit: Yep. Happy Death Day did edge out Bladerunner 2049 for the top spot over the weekend.

Previously known under the working title The Creation of Leila M., Anna Gutto's short film is now called A Light Above — re-scored by Mark Crawford, re-edited by Andrew Napier, and sound design with Darren Morze. Also, it's been selected by Interrobang Film Festival (Des Moines) and Short to the Point (Romania).

Laura's wrapped shooting The Creation of Leila M., a short written and directed by Anna Gutto. For the film, she learned Portuguese with a language coach and did firearms safety & weapons training.
