If you’re on a budget, it’s better to stay downtown as the hotels are less expensive than rates on the Vegas Strip.  You can find some cheap rooms on the strip too, especially midweek.

What months are the hotels cheapest in Las Vegas?

During July and August, price rates at Las Vegas hotels fall. The same thing happens during January and February when there’s a noticeable drop-off in visitors after the Holidays.
