Wonderful lunch, Wonderful views. This restaurant was recommended by our Whale Watch Company, Samara Adventures and it was just what we wanted. Great food, great drinks, great service. We each had something different, it was all very tasty, came out promptly and totally hit the spot. We would definitly recommend!

Great fun sitting and watching! Freddie was so fun: gave us wonderful service with our drinks and lunch; the Olas Salad (I think it was called) was extra good - greens, protein, cashews, coconut and a terrific dressing! Going back for more before we leave!

We stayed in their RV option. It's old and basic, but absolutely perfect for what it is. Roomy separate shower and toilet. Cheap drinks at the bar. Right on the beach. Great value and location on Samara beach.

We ate and drank here twice on our visit to Samara. It was recommended by several locals. We came here once for drinks and apps- they have a nice happy hour which seems to be loosely 4-6. We had adult drinks, kid drinks and potato wedges. All really good! We came back the next night for dinner and had burgers and chicken fingers. They have the best fries we had the entire trip! It’s right on the beach- there’s a volleyball court and lounge chairs, a covered seating area with a tv and beach tables. Service was friendly and attentive! Highly recommend!

This was our favorite bar/restaurant in Samara. The vibe was chill they had great happy hour deals and delicious food. Their staff was friendly and attentive. One evenings we were there they had live music. Plenty of spaced out seating both inside and on the beach. There was a netted in soccer field next door on the beach so we watched kids practice. Las Olas had a nice blend of young adults, families and couples. Highly recommend.

I ate here as I wanted to relax at the beach with dinner/drinks and the other places I wanted to go were not open. I was there at happy hour, but the drinks were very weak. I ordered the fish tacos, edible but not great, small amount of food. Slow service. Very loud music. I would not go back there since there are allegedly good restaurants in town.

My family of five ate lunch at Las Olas Bech Bar on April 19th. Unfortunately my eldest daughter got E. Coli Bacteria from a hamburger that she ate there. While the rest of us were fine (Chicken Quesadilla, Shrimp Tacos), clearly this is a restaurant to avoid. We ended up spending the night in Nicoya hospital and had to leave Costa Rica two days early and my daughter spent two additional nights in a US hospital.

A fabulous setting right on the beach with plenty of time to play in the surf and sand... then get a cold one and enjoy a meal... whether your a little or a lot hungry. Amazing ribs and so much more. They often have music which is wonderful under the stars. Last night Paulosanto. If you not heard this group you really haven't lived a full life. They are amazing! Sundays us bbq. Our friend had the biggest stack of ribs I've ever seen. Reasonable prices and wonderful atmosphere!

Wow service was terrible . Waited half hour for another drink which wasn’t even close to the first drink - very watered down and waited another half hour for our tab after we got our second drink smh . Happy hour is two for 5000 colones . Not bad but no thanks

The best experience in Sámara 😊 this place is amazing and the service incredible. I can recommend this place to anyone.
