Perfect for solo travelers - The trip to Las Cuevas was perfect. I had a fantastic tour guide who provided great information on the best local spots for food. As a solo traveler, this was a great way to see other parts of Trinidad where I felt safe. Definitely worth the value! Zaak was awesome!

Best Beach Excursion Ever - I loved everything about this excursion. I especially loved how small and intimate the group was and that Janel took us to the least populated beach. It was nice and peaceful and my sister and I had an amazing time. We would definitely book this excursion again. Janel was soooo awesome and a great, knowledgeable tour guide.

Across the mountains to Las Cuevas Beach - 1st, many thanks to our Guide Zeena who made this day tour enchanting. She was punctual, knowledgeable about the Country and POS history, local culinary delicacies, rigourous, provided good advices, and above all a very good driver. Now the trip to the Las Cuevas (caves in spanish) Beach. One should prepare for a long drive up and across the Northern Range on rather narrow, meandering roads, where drivers use their horn when handling very sharp curves. Vegetation is very lush on both sides of the road with occasional driveways shooting up the side of the mountain; only 4-wheel drive can tackle these driveways. Hopefully, all that meandering will not make you dizzy. The beach is about 2.5 km long and well maintained, there are showers and change rooms but parking space is limited. You may want to avoid weekends as traffic will be infernal and parking will be an issue. On the day of our trip, the only food kiosk on site was closed so we could not taste local dishes. I would advise to go with a guide. On the way back you may want to stop at Maracas Beach to enjoy a bake and shark (flat bread with fried shark) with a cold Carib or Stag beer. The food kiosk is usually packed. After, the day tour, you should ask your guide to take you to a "doubles" or "roti" in Port of Spain. Oh yes, you have to eat these delicacies with your hands. Now, if you ask for a double with pepper, it will be quite spicy.

Nice drive, nice beach (Maracas) - Excellent driver pick-up us on time just next to the port as excepted. We were concerned about the government warning for travellers going to Trinidad we asked our driver if it was possible to go Maraca beach instead and the were no problem at all.
