Our office gets their pizza at Lansky's for lunches and webinars. Everyone who attends these events loves the pizza. Loaded square slices that fill you up. Chicken Pesto and Butcher Block (all the meats) are our faves.

Great Pizza and Phillies with a nice little 1 trip salad bar. Very affordable and pleasant place to eat.

Great pizza and I always get the Lorenzos Favorite. The phillies are very very good. Nice little salad bar to go with your meal as well. For the $ this is some of the best pizza I have ever had. Great sauce, dough and flavors. What pizza should taste like.

Had spaghetti with meatballs and a good side salad while my wife had baked chicken alfredo. According to my wife, "it was yummy." Decent sized portions, good service,and a fun place to people watch made the visit to Lansky's worthwhile. Going at 6:30, it was still a quiet enough place to read and relax. Good Lunch With Friends

Appromixately thirteen ladies and 2 gentlemen ate lunch at Lansky's. Many of us had had their pizza/pop/salad special. Several had their sandwiches. Everyone seemed to have a good time and enjoyed their food and conversation. We had a private room which always is appreciated.

Very Disappointed!

So....do you want to know why I was so disappointed? Let me give you the scenario....I was in the area and looking for a place to eat. It was already a little late but saw that this place was open....time was 8:45PM. When I pulled up right in front of the door, I couldn't see a posted sign of the open hours...so I looked it up on the Internet on my phone just in case it closed at 9PM....oh good!....open till 10PM. I had been here before a while back and the food was good, so I'd try it again. So I walk in, saw a couple people eating and a few people had just left. I waited at the counter for a few minutes, maybe more than a few minutes when finally a young lady finally came out from the back. This was my greeting..."Hi, were not serving anymore tonight." After I said "okay," she started to turn and walk away! I did the same. Maybe I should have asked her were they closing, were the hours wrong, was there a problem, or something, but no, I got no explanation and I didn't ask. It was better that I just leave and not say anything....I don't think it would have mattered! So....I left, went up the street a short way and went to Village Inn....had good service and a good meal! Now it's been a couple weeks and as you can see, it still bugs me. I wasn't going to write a review on this but not all reviews are going to be good....some are going to be bad experiences and this was one of mine! Okay, this "is" the first bad review I've written. It will probably be a while before I visit again, if ever....there's just too many other good places to eat in Omaha and....with great service!

Pizza, pizza, pizza

The title sums up why we go to this great restaurant. We do takeout for guests at our office which is nearby. All of our guests love their butcher block pizza. We also love their chicken artichoke pesto pizza. If you get their pizza you won't go hungry.

wow what a place

I love the taste of the food but it needs some improvement on some things it needs real brewed tea the crust could be thinner I love the zauce the cheese the hamburger topping and onions very good I thought the service was great when the rushes were over the staff was out cleaning off tables and restocking very organized and good teamwork great prices they have areas for meetings or birthday partys I recommend this Italian restaurant in omaha

Find somewhere else to eat and leave the poor service, long lines and mediocre food to everyone else.

If you are crunched for time DO NOT eat here. This not being my first rodeo with Lansky’s and once again I’m very displeased. I always try something a couple of times to eliminate the benefit of the doubt factor. However, I seem to have the same experience each time. The lines are long the service is slow and the food not the best. I waited 50 minutes for a Daily Special the Philly steak sandwich! A special shouldn’t take long to prepare that’s why they are specials. Upon receiving my meal I was then out of time as I only have an hour lunch so they placed it in a to go box and off I went to eat at my desk upon returning to work. So disappointed! The past times I’ve tried Lansky’s the food wasn’t as great as everyone made it out to be. The salad bar is very plain with iceberg lettuce and not a large variety of toppings but certainly has a premium price for a sad salad. The Philly sandwich I had today had very dry meat the vegetables were completely overcooked and there was no flavor at all. I had to chew and drink a soda so I wouldn’t choke on the dry dry meat. My advice.. find somewhere else to eat and leave the poor service, long lines and mediocre food to everyone else.

Great pizza at affordable prices with large portions. This is what pizza is supposed to taste like. 17 bucks gets you a large lorenzo's favorite which can easily feed 4 big guys. I would recommend the Lorenzos favorite. They also have great lunch specials that include personal pizzas, spaghetti, sandwhiches, drink and 1 trip salad bar for 7 bucks. I also had the philly and was very good as well. Only drawback is that they do not have delivery.

Good Italian Grub

This is a walk-up counter restaurant in between mid-town and South Omaha. It serves a variety of food, primarily Italian. Everything is made from scratch. There are pizzas, pastas, calzones, Italian beef sandwiches and Philly subs, among others, with a smallish salad bar. The food is uniformly good, and the prices are very reasonable, with daily lunch specials (I had the spaghetti with meat sauce special, which came with two slices of garlic toast and a 20 ounce drink, all for $6). The service is friendly, and while the decor is a little dated, it is clean and roomy. A good choice if you are in the vicinity.

Good Philly Cheesesteak

Frankly I got lost trying to find a place for lunch and I'm really glad I spotted this place. My sandwich was really good and the pizzas & calzones looked really good. Friendly staff and very good prices.

Had a good lunch and will return again!

Stopped in for lunch and had a loaded philly with some fries. Both were very good although the Philly was just a hair on the dry side but very tasty. The other guys with me were eating healthier and had salads...seemed fine but nothing special. I want to try the Calzones on my return as they looked great!! Must be very good as no less than 15 police officers/detectives were dining as well.

Good variety and quality food!

Lansky's has always been a favorite amongst my family. They have phillies, pasta, pizza, calzones, and more. My favorites are the cheese toasted ravioli, cheese bread, and chicken philly. The pizza and pasta are slightly above average to me, but the cheese toasted ravioli and chicken philly are the best of both in town. You order at the counter and find a seat. Friendly service Good lunch atmosphere. My only complaint is that they bring out all the food at the same time and it sits under heat lamps while they wait for it to all be ready. Often times, if they are on top of things everything is still good and fresh when it comes out though.
