I've been going to the theater a little more while covid has slowed down.
This theater is always clean and the recliner chairs are a must now for my personal movie going experience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Jun 2, 2022
This is such a lovely theatre I love the movie membership and the nice recliner seats . The sound system is great. Very clean and with the app and coupons it's affordable to go to the movies . Date nights are back and I'm current on the latest movies to hit the box office .

This movie theater is awesome! No popcorn on the ground, reclining seats, no need to stop at concessions, and clean bathrooms! The movie theater is awesome, I could never go back to the one in Lakeside Village!

This is usually my favorite theater to go to. However yesterday was a very disappointing trip. Both kiosks for tickets outside were down. One was out of paper and the other was out of order. Therefore the line for tickets was backed up. There was only one employee working but he handled things very well and kept the line moving.
For the popcorn area there was once again only one cashier. The line was extremely backed up yet no other employees jumped in on the other cash register. They only had the small refillable 2019 buckets left and appeared sold out of the large.
The facility itself is always very clean. Whether it's the hallways, bathroom, or concessions the theater is kept clean.
Someone decided to bring their toddler into a PG-13 movie yesterday. Their kid proceeded to stomp up/down the stairs, scream, kick seats, you name it. It was horribly distracting during the movie and was a problem throughout the movie. I finally got up and informed an employee of the situation. They sent someone in to check it out but the employee literally walked in for 2 minutes and left. He didn't bother walking the stairs to see the toddler that was ruining the movie for everybody. As soon as the employee walked out the child continued the disruption. I don't blame the child for being a child. But there was absolutely no reason for a parent to bring a young child like that into this movie.
I contacted guest services about the limited employees throughout the theater and about the distracting movie. They were very apologetic about the situations that occurred.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Jan 6, 2019Previous reviewThe refillable popcorn bucket + drink last year was a fantastic deal. I appreciated there was a smaller size option that made snacking even more affordable. However this year Cinemark is only offering one size for the popcorn/drink refill deal. The price has increased from last years small bucket which was a disappointment.
I noticed for the first time the theater now has a "seating" or "wait" sign under the movie times which is helpful.
This theater is always pretty clean for the most part and I appreciate the reclining chairs. It's still pricey wise tickets unless it's Tuesday. However be aware sometimes they don't have the $5.00 Tuesday deal close to the holidays.
Overall happy with my most recent experiences at this movie theater.Jul 16, 2018Previous reviewThis has become my favorite theater in Lakeland. $5.00 movie nights on Tuesdays is a great deal!
PROS: comfy reclining seats, $5.00 Tuesday's, reserving seats, refillable popcorn bucket+drink option
NEGATIVES-Sometimes the ticket counter can be a bit slow. I usually now just purchase my tickets online instead.Apr 14, 2017Previous reviewThis theater overall is very clean and has a nice set up. However I wish they had recliner seats and more movies with reserved seating options. I would much rather pay a little extra to have a recliner seat and reserved seating. The graphics and sound is great. Some of the discounts also available are really nice. I would recommend this theater-however there is room for some improvement.
The popcorn was alright. I find the popcorn to be a bit overpriced at times. However when they have specials going on it isn't too bad. - Oct 29, 2018
We've got two main movie theaters in Lakeland. One in the south side (Cobb theater) and this one on the North.
What I like about this one:
-The SEATS! They're big and puffy and comfy and they recline and they have snack trays with cup holders attached and you always reserve them when you purchase tickets; online or at the counter.
- The staff: they're always friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and fast!
-It's clean!
-Their app is so easy to use for purchasing tickets and redeeming them on site.
- There's a nice food selection (even though we rarely stray from nachos and candy)
-Selection of movies: they do a lot of the extra runnings of movies like Ghibli Fest, indie docs and more.
What I don't love
-The location: It is located on one end of the mall. It's populated enough, which is great, but it's just not a superb part of town.
-As much as I love the seats, I do have to ding them for one thing; they're noisy! Because they're leather, they make all kind of noises whenever someone reclines their seat... which seems to happen during the entire movie!
- Theater sizes: this is both good and bad. I like an empty theater, but I also like having a chance to see a particular movie. Because the seats are so big (which I love!), it greatly reduces the number of them in the theater... which means, some movies sell out quicker. Just gotta stay on top of it online, I suppose.
This is a nice theater for movie nerds like us! I don't think we'd ever NOT purchase our tickets online, out of fear of early sell outs (small theaters), but that's ok; I prefer it that way, anyway!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jaydin Z.FL, FL05May 2, 2023
usually i love coming to cinemark but the staff was extremely disrespectful to several PAYING customers including myself! my entire party was also sick with food poisoning the following morning after our movie. save $40 on shitty food and service and go anywhere else besides this dump!!

Paying for a Large popcorn NO REFILL AND 2 LARGE DRINKs NO REFILL PAYING over 21 dollars is outrageous not having No refills first theater i EVER WENT TO ACTUALLY TO SAY THIS no wonder soon these movie theaters will be gone soon LIKE THIS ONE and no workers anymore because everyone will be at home watching them instead saving money to do popcorn and candy with the kids at 30 bucks when you have a whole 7 family member group not coming back here with my family ill go to the other theater will refills for families like ours
Now you have me 7million subscribers criticizing on youtube on this movie departmentHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Mark K.Lakeland, FL6243Apr 5, 2019
I was the first customer on opening day several years ago, and sadly it is not the great theater I enjoyed 2 times a week.
2 times I have been in a R rated movie with parents bringing in their toddlers or babies. If you have a policy, enforce it! If the kids were quiet, didn't cry etc, I could care less. The staff walked in the theater after I complained and walked back out. They never even approached the family. The other time, they never even bothered to come in.
I live in Lakeland, but travel to Tampa now for movies. AMC has a deal of $20 a month for 3 movies a week. Ant screen!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
