Lakeland Square Mall

It was like a GHOST town! Literally it was creepy! I asked a JCPenney associate what happened? She said covid hit a lot of stores hard! But they were still doing good. I'm talking there's maybe... if 4 stores left. It was creepy! Plus u have cops and security riding around the whole "mall". #redflag It looked really run down literally.
It even had this just Erie vibe. I know this place was thriving I've been here (years ago) seeing it the other day. Whoaaa!!!! I hope they can bring it back to life, oh and maybe Sage the WHOLE mall! Ha but no fr! It needs some good vibes or something! Lol
I wish they would put a Costco there! It's huge and sooo much space is there it's insane! The store that I went to JCPenney.. those prices were ridiculous another reason I wouldn't recommend. It sucks Plant City & Lakeland don't have malls or better shopping.. stuck going to Brandon.

i love it as a homeschooled teenager i go here some days sit around do school, wait for my friends to come, best food place... perries BBQ, or perries Chinese, not sure of the name honestly but perries you will find it. Yes its a ghost time and some parts of the week some of the sotres are closed now but aren't some stores at like every mall, but not run down, not dirty always see people cleaning mopping sweeping, love how its set up.

Sadly this mall is in the same state as many a mall in the outer Orlando / Central Florida area...dying. There are few stores remaining and the mall itself has seen better days structurally. There are many a new strip mall options in the area that offer a ton of options and it's showing it's impact on this once thriving mall.

It is a good option still for getting in some steps if you've had a long ride or been sitting around for the day. It's indoors, air conditioned and relatively clean despite its age.

Like so many other indoor malls in the area, it's dying a slow death and it's honestly sad.

So far I like the Lakeland Mall, but not Tammi's (the nail salon near Burlington). I haven't went to many places outside of getting my eyebrows down, shopping at Burlington, the restroom and eating at a couple places in the mall.

The next time I go I'll make sure I get pictures and stop rushing so much.

Customer service is good so far and the mall/restroom were clean.

Dillard's return policy stinks. Purchased item mid November to give as gift. Tried returning with receipt 12-26-22. Refused to refund my original payment method. After 30 days will only give gift card. Most stores extend the return policy through the holidays. Dillards does not.

I had previously read reviews for this mall prior to coming and wanted to make my own judgement. Boy, were they right.

1) Don't trust the list of stores on the online directory; most aren't there and the ones that are were either closed or closing.

2) There were a lot of "off" brands of stores. I can best compare it to stores you would see at a big flea market.

3) it seemed like a very outdated mall. It was run down and dirty. I know I wouldn't want to be caught there at night or past a certain hour.

Don't waste your time. Go elsewhere.

I stopped here for the first time today and other than Burlington, it was a waste of time. Super outdated and poor selection of stores.
Don't bother stopping here and just go to the Florida Mall or the Outlets in Orlando.

My wife and I used to come to this mall 30 years ago. It looks larger now than we remember with the same look as well. The bidets problem is how much it has gone down hill. With multiple closed stores it seams like it is dying. Around the food court is ok but the further out the older and warn it looks.

There's a thrift store that was added recently in place of sears or jc penny or whatever garbo business that preceeded it. Whatever that place is called it's worth going to and as far as thrift stores go it's 5 stars. Don't waste your time with Game Attic, use eBay, Amazon, or just emulate older games and don't pay 50 bucks for goldeneye or 20 bucks for gta 3. The massage place, I think it's next to Burlington coat factory, is pretty great. I don't get massages often but the value is good. The pizza in the food court is the greasiest I've ever had because they keep spraying olive oil on their "case pizza" to keep it from drying out. I'd rather have the Tostitos party pizza for $1.80 at Walmart. Zumiez and tillies both have surprisingly good service for being run by a bunch of kids, but you'll have much better prices at the target down the road.

Dirty. Just plain dirty. However, it does have a very nice sports memorabilia section. There they have quality jerseys and other cool stuff. They also have a Bungie jump occasionally, sometimes some little kids stuff, other than that, pulling up is a horrible sight. The Dillard's roof looks like a bird dropped 1500 of its bombs on it. The food court is probably cleaned once a week, ( I hope the food is clean too. ) Once I waited almost 10 min while we were scanning about 5 things. All shirts. I am amazed at the sight of how dirty this is. It has very few people there though, so you can go and not wait a hour for everything. Unless, you buy out the store in that case, you just lost your money. If necessary, you should go, and if you do, you will see what I mean by a 2 star place.
