About the Business
Founded more than 70 years ago as a financial institution for teachers, Lake Michigan Credit Union offers a full-line of financial services to the general public. Lake Michigan Credit Union maintains its corporate headquarters in Grand Rapids, Mich., and operates nearly 20 branch offices and more than 50 automated teller machines throughout Allegan, Kent, Muskegon and Ottawa Counties in the state.

Then they were mad at me because none of the information was correct. They didn't give me a card for my HSA and had the wrong last name on my account and contact information so old I had no idea what the phone number or email was

Sandy H.Grand Rapids, MI134154389Feb 1, 2016We've been members at this credit union for years. This is not our regular branch, but we were out and about so stopped here. We waited in the drive thru for 19 minutes! There were 2 cars ahead of me when we got here. 19 minutes! Slowest service ever.

Because, they do have very attractive rates, I did try twice
to open HSA accounts with these jokers.
Both times I left feeling uneasy in my dealings with them.

_ Outfit appears to be quite FEE-Happy.
_ Their "help" is quite unprofessional if not rude & evasive to reasonable inquiries by new customers.
_ Their processes are primitive & documentation requirements
_ are excessive as well as quite unusual

The Branch manager Julie at the branch at 4050 Lake Dr SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546 is absolutely terrible and has no business serving the public. I'll be closing my household account ASAP and telling anyone who will listen about my experience for the rest of my life.
