If you did not have the chance to find all of local artist David Zinn’s hidden chalk drawings, never fear. Here is a roundup of the locations and pictures of the art.

Local chalk artist Zinn partnered with Lake Michigan Credit Union and the Ann Arbor Summer Art Fair to create a three-piece scavenger hunt installation around the fair.

Piece 1:

Hint:

“The first drawing can be found near where the Pirates do their banking, and next to the best pizza in town. Not far from the legendary archway where if you kiss someone at exactly midnight, you will marry them.”

Answer:

The piece can be found on the back of a column in front of Joe’s NYC Pizza and the PNC Bank, near the corner of South University and East University.

This piece is hidden under the awning of Afternoon Delight on Liberty Street near the corner of Liberty Street and Fifth Avenue.

Hint:

“There once was a PRICKLY Italian man who MAINly ate PEARS.”

Answer:

This piece is hidden in the doorway of the now-closed Prickly Pear Southwest Café south of the Gratzi Cafe

The Ann Arbor Art Fair is running from Thursday, July 15, to Saturday, July 17. It is open from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday. Find more information online.
