Luxury Cinema Experience Blvd Cinemas is the only luxury style cinema in the Antelope Valley area. With sofa style recliner seating, beer and wine selections, great movies - block busters and indies, Blvd Cinemas takes your movie experience from mundane to the memorable! The theatre boasts 3 state-of-the-art screens with all-digital projectors and cutting edge surround sound. Each comfortable and wide leather seat features a full recliner with foot rests and a built in cup-holder. In addition to typical movie theater snacks, the concession stand offers pita chips, hummus dips, hot dogs and baked to order pizzas. Laemmle is our very favorite theater. We have had a pleasurable experience each time we've watched either a "popular" movie or a well made independent film. We love the plush leather couches that recline with a foot rest. We love that they'll bring the food right to our seat. We LOVE that the other patrons are quiet and well mannered. It is also enjoyable to walk around the shop outside the theater.

This is a great small cinema in the Antelope Valley. Only a few screens but a nice diversity of movies and the only place to see some independent films in the area (the only other theatres are corporate multiplexes that all show the same wide-release films). The BLVD cinema (no longer has the Laemmle name) is absolutely wonderful with reclining sofas so you and your date/spouse/partner can sit close together. They sell wine and beer and even margaritas in the lobby. Cool soda fountain machine with a multiplicity of different flavour sodas if you go for a non-alcohol beverage during the show. Before or after, browse the adjoining Forge store and then wander just a few steps for a nice choice of independently owned restaurants. This place is the BEST!

This is my kind of movie theater. It has huge leather seats that remind me of my recliner. It caters to adults, I mean real adults not 18 year olds. Better than average food. Shows movies that run from the odd to great movies that just wouldn't make it in a regular theater. Last movie we saw there was Academy Award Nominee "Nebraska." Its on the Lancaster BLVD with its good restaurants and shops. Great place.

It is a nice small theater. There is more than one theater and some have no children. It makes it nice and quiet with adult themed movies and beverages. The leather reclining love seats are great too. I agree with the other review. They need better food. The popcorn isn't even very good. BUT the soda machine is fun with so many different kinds of carbonated drinks.

Please change the food! What a great theater this could be if only the food matched the decor and very plush seating! We used to attend the Enzian Theater in Maitland, Florida. The menu was fantastic and you feel like you want to keep going back for a wonderful experience of entertainment along with great food. Boulevard Cinemas could be just like that, if only...the popcorn was just ok, the pizza was aweful, and the wine was alright. We hope that the theater will offer better food and drinks so we will be tempted to return.

For $11 you get to sit in love seat recliners, in total comfort, while watching a movie! It's a smaller venue, so it feels more intimate, but very relaxed. You can also get your beverage and snack of choice from the snack bar and place it on your personal tray that slides out over your lap--so no spillage! Great for a date night or relaxing night out!

I have been coming here since before its renovation, and I could say it was great then, but its even better now. Their seats are all large sofa seats where you can kick up your feet and relax. Its very clean, (cheaper than those expensive cinepolis in larger cities for the same experience) quite, and soooo comfortable. Its the perfect date night, or movie by yourself experience. Another plus is they were approved for their liquor license, but from my knowledge they aren't serving alcohol yet but will be soon.

Very comfortable, romantic seating for you and your date! Plenty of space between you and the other guests. Have only had the popcorn and do not recommend it. Tasteless and stale. But they do have a fun Coke machine that makes any flavor combo you'd like! Price is very fair for the step up in seating and atmosphere! Disappointed that most movies shown seem to be rated "R". Also, all theater guests share ONE one-person bathroom in that theater area of the facility!

We like going to the Blvd theatre, the seats are comfortable and the food is good. We like the Humus and chips, and my husband enjoys the idea he can have a beer if he wants one. The only problem is the restroom for the theatre is terrible. There's only one downstairs and it's coed which is terrible and always busy. You have to go upstairs to use a real restroom but even if you run you miss alot of the movie so whoever planned this wasn't thinking. The theatre itself is a nice change from the big ones your used to and I would have rated it higher but for the restroom situation.
