  • Lady A

This was an excellent concert. Even through the heat, all three acts put on a Great show!!! 5th Lady A concert and loved every minute of it. I especially enjoyed Hilary’s daughter singing “Teinkld Little Star”

  • A Good show marred by Bad Sound

    O2/London/10 oct 2017

This should have been great, last date of the UK tour, two great support acts in Brett Young and Kelsea Ballerini (really headliners in their own right) but it was let down by the sound. For reasons known only to them the sound engineers over amplified the backing band so vocals were lost in the melee of base rumble and distorted feedback. All three artists produce songs of good strong lyrical quality and it beggars belief that the soundmen thought it right to bury that lyricism for the sake of ramping up the guitars and drums.

Putting the sound to oneside, Lady A were on great form, the two man brass section giving them a funky vibe that gelled well with the songs.

The best bits were the acoustic parts, when we really heard the blending of Charles and hillary's voices and Dave's piano. Standout tracks was Hurt, the Tom Petty Tribute - Learning to Fly,the eponimous Need you now. With merit mentions for This City, Heart Break and Good time to be alive.

Overall it was a Good Concert but it could have been so much more

  • It was ok. Just ok.

My seat was crap because there was a corridor to the right of me that had a constant draft.

The support was good. For a support act.

Lady Antebellum didn’t do any of the big hits. & were off the stage before 8:55pm.

Won’t be going again. Will listen to their records instead. Was so looking forward to this concert & ended up disappointed
