Snorklegirl from United States
“For snorkling, scuba, light surfing, and a great view... you definitely want La Jolla cove.

While parking can be tough to come by, it's worth the trek to get down to the small but beautiful beach area. There are also tide pools, a variety of sea life, and always good people watching.

Although at times it can be crowded for snorkling or surfing, once you get out in the water and see the seaweed beds and kelp reef just off the cove, you'll get a good look at why this area is a wildlife preservation zone.

Thanks to whomever put this website together, it's really comprehensive!

Lets all hope for a hot summer and warm water :)”
