Great selection of pastries to choose from. So much here for you to choose from, it's hard to decide. Prices are good. Coffee shop is great also.

Horrible customer service always at the cashier. But today was by far the worst and I felt very uncomfortable by the abuse I received.

Well displayed bakery with a far ranging selection of goods, from cakes to bread to cookies and pastry, they have it all. The taste of the goods is ok, not excellent!

Do not recommend it. Bought pastries and breads and, as I was leaving the store, I accidentally stumbled on 2 boxes of biscuits and they went down on the floor. The bakery made me pay for the accident, which I found it appaling. You just don't make clients pay for that kind of thing.

A nice spot if you are in Polanco, Mexico City. Good for breakfast and an amazing selection of fresh pastries. Limited seating

Great bakery with ahuge selection of equally huge pastries. After you have made your selection you need to get a ticket in the back and then pay upfront.

The coffee, sandwiches and baked good are all top quality. They have a liquor store and some sundries onsite and are helpful if your Spanish is not wonderful.

Our friends took us to Esperanza in Mexico City and it did not disappoint. Tons of bakery variety and it is not expensive. The sweets and baked food will delight your eyes once you get in Esperanza!

We often forget that Mexico was extremely influenced by French culture. So, it is not rare to find in Mexico City some bakeries as good as the ones you can find in France. Excellent bread, tartellettes and other bakery food can be found everywhere. As a fan of bakeries, I would say that the little fruit pies at Esperanza Bakery are excellent, but they really excel in the empanadas. The empanada de atun (tuna) is magnificent. Try it! This is a good hotel food, to have in your room just in case. The process to buy in the bakeries in however a little complicated. You have to say to the server (near the product) what you want, then go to the cashier to pay, then go back to the original server to request your product. I would call it bakery bureaucracy.

Some of the best baked good I have ever eaten. I wanted to go here from breakfast, lunch and dinner everyday (but I am not supposed to eat bread!) Ha! It was a nice splurg.

First of all, no English speakers. Then, if you want to seat and eat a cake, they are having tables but you have to eat from a plastic large tray with a plastic little spoon with a plastic napkin. The service should be improved because the cakes are really good.

This bakery has great variety of classic, traditional bread. You can find all the Mexican classics as well as some innovations from abroad like crounuts.

This was a great spot to stop at and get some pastries after a visit to the nearby park. They have so many options it's almost overwhelming. Both the pastries we got were very delicious and the prices were quite fair, too. They also have coffee which was good.

We chanced on this bakery near Zocalo ( on the road to Palacio de Bellas Artes ) when we looking to have dessert after a meal. It has mouth watering pasteries and breads. It also has coffee but we did not try it
