La Canada Pool and Patio is the place to call when you need help with your pool or spa. Danny and Kenny are the most friendly people and their work is always done perfectly. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We were gifted a hot tub from my parents and we had no idea how to get it up and running. The staff here were friendly and so helpful in not only helping us find what equipment/chemicals we needed but also explaining to us how to clean, start and maintain a spa. 10/10 service!

I've used La Canada Pool and Patio for over 15 years. The owners and people in the shop are very helpful. However, I have had many problems with the technicians which come to the house to take care of our pool. These events happened Pre-covid times. There have rotating technicians that will show up maybe once a month and I get charged up for the entire month. There is no accountability for the technicians and over the course of time, I have had to constantly call about failed visits.. . They apologize and are receptive but the pattern continues. It should not be my job to hold their technicians accountable.
They also do not deduct the money from my bill. So basically I pay for a pool service that doesn't exist.

I hope they can fix this problem because it is unacceptable for a business.
At this point I would not recommend them. Use a service which is reliable.

Danny is absolutely courteous, prompt, knowledgeable and competent. He took care of an issue with our pool equipment, for the right price. I highly recommend La Canada Pool and Patio!

I bought a new house with some outdated pool equipment. The 23-year old heater was not operational. Two other pool companies told me they couldn't repair it and I'd be dumb to try. My priority was to get the equipment working ASAP, then worry about upgrading and replacement.

I called this company and they scheduled Danny to check in 5-6 days after the initial call. Danny was timely and kept me up to date by phone on his schedule. He took his time to orient me to all the equipment and said he was confident he could REPAIR the heater (ignition assembly) to get us up and running ASAP. We talked about longer-term upgrade options but he didn't try to rush or upsell me.

A little customer service and building of trust goes a long way with me. I will definitely be calling Danny and La Canada Pool & Patio when I am ready to upgrade all this equipment!

I needed a pool remote as mine was accidentally dropped in the pool. I needed to switch it out before my 4th of July party that weekend. I desperately called around to find the remote, and everywhere wanted $700+ for it. I luckily called this place and they said they normally don't carry it but could have it ordered and delivered next day. I was so excited, more importantly because of their competitive price. I got it for a fraction of the price everywhere else had quoted me. Michael was very helpful, he called me the very next day when the remote came in. He didn't hassle me for a deposit or credit card info. They made everything easy for me. I will be returning to this establishment for all my future pool needs. They have me as a customer for life! Thanks again Michael!

After my long-time pool guy retired we required a periodic filter cleaning. Ironically, I was referred to La Canada Pool & Patio by a nearby competitor also listed in Yelp* who insisted that we'd have to sign up for weekly cleaning in order for them to clean the filter. We generally brush, clean, and add chemicals ourselves, and La Canada P & P made no such demand, so we made an appointment with Michael on Friday, and the crew arrived on-time four days later.
Hector and Arturo determined that some valve leakage required new gaskets. They had the parts in their truck. They finished the repair, cleaning, and gave us new DE, leaving our pool area clean in just over an hour.
When the bill arrived it was just $4 more than the original cleaning quote (because of the gaskets). The total for cleaning and repair was less than the quote from the nearby national pool retailer's quote for cleaning.
It's ten days since, and our filter is running fine. I will call L C P & P for my next maintenance. Five stars for meeting all our expectations.

OK - I am happy to report that while they didn't call back exactly on time, these guys called back about a week later and worked really hard to fix things. They admitted that the first cleaning/draining didn't go as planned and offered to make things right. I called them back later to ask them to basically re-do the draining and they gladly did.

Now the water is crystal clear versus cloudy and grey and we actually are starting to use it.

It's nice to know that they really do care about the community and work to make customers happy.
