Kristin's Story
Just wanted to say that I saw Kristin's Story last night and it was really moving. I had to force myself not to cry. Has anyone else been privileged enough to get to see Andrea Coopers presentation?

Yes, she came to UNCG and I saw her presentation there. It was wonderful and Andrea was a very effective presenter. It was part of Greek Week at UNCG, therefore all the Fraternity and Sorority chapters were required to be there and I'm sure everyone was very impressed. And since Alpha Chi was kinda "hosting" her while she was there, we got to talk with her after the presentation. She was so nice and gracious and willing to answer any questions.

Sorry to crash your boards ladies....I'm a Phi Mu at UNCG, and I attended Mrs. Cooper's presentation. She moved me to tears, and afterwards, I used some of her statistics and parts of her speech in a class project. I emailed the paper to her, and she was extremely gracious and excited that her words were being used in this way.
I'm sure I don't have to tell you ladies to go see her if you get the chance. She's absolutely wonderful, and she makes you think. Great, great presentation.

Also sorry to crash your board ladies. I have heard of Kristin's story. I know the mother has a website address. If anyone knows this could someone please PM me. I would love to try to get Mrs. Cooper for out next convention.
Thanks girls.
Fraternally,
Brianna

Same story here--sorry to invade your space, but I saw Kristen's Story two years ago when Mrs. Cooper presented during our Greek Week. Your Delta Tau chapter here at MSU helped bring it to campus and it was an amazing story and changed my outlook on life forever.

I would try http://www.deltadeltadelta.org to see if they have a link to it. I'm sure you could send an email to them or our HQ to ask (ours is: info@alphachiomega.org - I would put Kristin's Story in the subject line so that it goes straight to Nicki Reas).
If neither of these gets you a result, let me know, and I'll call HQ.
Also, if your school has an AXO and/or DDD chapter, then you could talk with them - I know that we got a "scholarship" through our foundation to pay for her presentation.

Iota Psi at Elon University was privileged to receive a grant from Headquarters to bring Kristin's Story in Spring 2003. Our VP - Risk Management managed to have it scheduled during Greek Week and it became an event. The majority of Greeks were there and it was a very successful and powerful event. If you can get her to come to your campus, I highly suggest it!

I saw Kristen's Story at WRGA last year and it was so moving. She's a really amazing speaker! It was so hard not to cry, but it's amazing that she can keep telling the story and helping save other people as well.

Her mother is a Tri Delta and the chapter at Knox brought her to campus and she gave her talk about her daughter 2 years ago....it was wonderful to see members of ALL the fraternities and sororities there in pin dress out of respect for her and her daughter. I agree, the story was very moving. I commend her mother for going out there and talking about something so painful. I cant imagine the strength that would require...I hope I never have to find out

I saw it!
I saw Kirsten story at Millikin, (Upsilon chapter). Afterwards we were lucky enough to have her come to our house and talk with alot of the girls personally about the subject. She was so sweet and very gracious. I loved it and hope to see it again.
Tri-Delta also loved having an alum speak to the campus!
