Nick Saban once again became a grandfather as his daughter, Kristen Saban Setas, gave birth to a beautiful baby boy on Monday.

James Nickolas Setas was born at 8:18 AM on Monday, April 27, 2020 weighing 9 lbs, 12 ounces to Adam and Kristen Saban Setas.

Saban’s first grandchild is Amèlie Elizabeth Saban, who was born to his son Nicholas and Kelsey Laney Saban, back in 2013.

Saban shared back in 2016 that Amelie isn’t afriad of him, and that means alot to him:

“My kids were always afraid of me. And most of the players are a little afraid of me. But little Amelie, she’s not afraid of me at all. And I expect her to be afraid of me, and she’s not. It’s kind of shocking, actually.

I mean, I’m really, really moved by that. It means that through the years, I’ve mellowed enough that some little one that I love isn’t afraid of me. And I really appreciate that.”

There’s no doubt that little James Nickolas Setas will have football in his future. Whether it’s playing or coaching, we don’t know yet. But one thing is for sure, James may just become Saban’s favorite recruit!
