My mother and I needed a place to stay while dealing with a family emergency in Nashville. Knights Inn is reasonably priced, clean, and the staff have been wonderful to us. It is located near downtown, has free wifi, and free parking for guests.

I've stayed here yearly in September until COVID. I was disappointed to learn that there is NO BREAKFAST anymore. The room was fine. Desk service poor. The phone in room didn't work so I could not get wake up call. I told them in morning and they didn't fix for there rest of my 3 night stay. Great location but don't expect any food. The morning desk person couldn't even tell me where to find breakfast! If you stay and crepes and bagels go to the Red Bicycle on 5th st over the bridge less than 5 minutes by car

Made it right in with no problems. Was able to check in early only waiting 20 minutes. Good location with us having a concert at the stadium and an easy 15 minute walk. 30 minute walk to Broadway, which we walked about 3 times. Everyone was very accommodating. Pretty good breakfast. Clean rooms. Pool wasn't open was a disappointment.

We checked in about 4:30, the young man at the desk was speaking on ear buds in foreign language while we were checking in. We obviously were not his priority. When we tried to get into our room the cleaning lady was still there. She saw me but was also wired and didn't bother trying to communicate with me. We sat in the car for half an hour waiting for her to finish the room. I tried to call the front desk to ask for help or another room, although I called on the published number, no one answered. I waited a few minutes and called again--no answer. The heater in the made noise all night off and on, even though I turned it off. We've been traveling for 3 weeks and at least 10 states, this was by far the worst included motel breakfast we had. For milk they had "milk", I don't if it was whole, 2% or skim. There was a flat screen TV in the breakfast area, but it was never on. Maybe the same guy who did the check in was responsible for turning it on. Nashville has a lot of expensive hotels/motels. If this is your choice because it is your last resort, just make sure you know it is a last resort. Knowing what I know now, I would not consider going back.

I've been staying here consistently whenever I'm in town for work, and you can't really beat the price for the location. Other hotels within the same price range are a bit of a drive, which is never a great experience on Nashville's highways. It also feels safer (and much cleaner) than many other hotels I've tried in Nashville - lots of security cameras and lights in the parking lot. Something pretty drastic would have to change for this location to stop being my go-to hotel.

I've stayed at this Knights Inn before when I'm in town for the NAMM show. Its never been great but it was convenient and affordable since every downtown hotel jacks up their prices for the show as does the Knights Inn.

Stayed there July 14-17. Too tired from 10 hour drive to notice anything wrong in the room. On the 15th I got home late from the convention center after a 17 hour day, jumped in the shower and discovered hospitality did not leave any towels after making the bed. Tried calling the front desk but they never answer the phone. Dried off with a washcloth. Later that night I happened to look up at the ceiling in the shower and noticed mold growing, probably from a leak above. Tried to call the front desk, no answer.

Left early for Music City Center and didnt have time to stop at the desk. My phone died during the day and as it happened my wife couldnt get my cell so she tried calling the hotel number listed on their website multiple times and all it did was ring until a message finally came on that it was not a working number. I was able to call her after charging my phone.

Checked out at 6AM Saturday for the drive home. Had to make two trips to the parking lot on the other side of the building. I didnt notice until I was 400 miles away that my charger was back in the hotel. Tried calling the front desk and of course there was no answer.

As soon as I got back home Saturday night I tried calling again. No luck. I emailed the hotel that I would pay to have them send it to me if it was turned in. No response.

I emailed the Red Lion chain that the Knights Inn was not responding and got a note back that said they opened a ticket number for my case but since the Knights Inn is a franchise there is nothing they can do. Tried calling the hotel probably another 10 times and never got through. I learned a lesson and I am through ever staying at this hotel again.

A few last comments. I was happy to see that they had signs in the front entrance that you had to wear a mask inside but that was just for show. No one did. This inn also used to have a pretty nice breakfast included in the cost but not anymore. The dining area looks nice but is not open.

I read some comments that its nice to have a gas station next door and there is even a Mexican food truck that parks in the lot but the gas station traffic is extremely loud all night long. There must be a motorcycle club near by because they sat in the lot and revved their engines for a half hour Friday night. And finally, I never noticed before or maybe its a new thing but almost the entire hotel is surround by a metal fence or a fence topped with barbed wire and was more like a prison as the days passed.

This hotel was very difficult to find, even with a good map system guiding me, despite the tall sign letting you know it's location. The office for this hotel is not attached to the hotel so that was even more difficult to find since there is no sign at eye level on the building itself indicating that's where the office is.

Although I believe the linen was washed (Ihope), it was very dingy looking and there was some small slight stains on the curtains, pillow cases and the bed covering.
I went to call the office at 1 point and there was no dial tone on the phone so I don't know what was up with that

Also one night a huge truck blocked my car in it's parking space so I couldn't leave along with at least 6 other cars were trapped by this big truck. The staff never did find out who the truck belonged to in order for them to move it, but luckily another guest was able to move his truck so that others could leave the parking lot. Also with their parking situation there were several nights there were not any spots available for me to be able to park my car near my room. So I had to park in the office parking lot which was quite a distance away from my hotel door.

Luckily I was only there to sleep being out of the hotel room pretty much all day long into the late night. The only good thing about this hotel was the location is extremely convenient to get to downtown, just minutes away. The price is also the cheapest around. So I guess it's true, you get what you pay for.

This hotel is THE best value in Nashville
It’s centrally located to Broadway, Nissan stadium and the interstate.
Lots of free parking and very accommodating staff.
I’ve been staying here on and off for over 10 years, the hotel has recently been refurbished and is sure to impress the weary traveler
