Hey, does anyone have a sreenshot of her rant ? 😀 i've been lokking for it
Btw, she's back (after 1 whole WEEK ) guys😱😱 #sorelieved
It seems she's deleted/shut off comments.
And also removed her huge rant. Maybe she realised how insane she sounded?
Instagram influencers are modeling/advertising products. I can't get too upset if someone no longer wants to do that particular job. ::shrug:: It's ok, go do something you enjoy more.
What a whiny bitch. I read her caption and couldn’t stop rolling my eyes. So obnoxious.

YOU GET MONEY. Hello.
lol idk if any of your watch KKBabyJ but keren was going off about her "ungrateful subscribers" the other day because people have been calling out how much money they spend
I’m totally getting shades of that Houston woman who flaunted her luxury-goods filled closet all over the place, and it turned out it was all fakes.
The whole spectacular schadenfreude here, in case you’re not familiar with it.
This article is a wild ride
Lmao sounds like my middle class closet haha
All fakes? What I got out of that was there was some costume jewelry and she didn’t even care about being ‘exposed’. Did I miss something (asking sincerely because I do tend to skim)?
Honestly, someone like this who grew up without money, had ambition to become rich, worked her way up a bit and met a rich husband... Not my goals/values but I have some respect for it. And that’s how rich oil guys should spend their money. Spread the wealth.
At least some of the jewelry, I think that's the only thing the thief "verified." The shoes were probably legit, but I wouldn't be surprised if most if not all the handbags were fake.
I just read the piece and I gotta say, this woman’s got gumption. It’s very admirable. You do you, boo.
This is early 2000s fanfiction authors posting author's notes crying about how they won't release the next chapter of their incesty slash Superwholock fanfic until they get at least five new reviews.
...is this still a thing in fanfic, or did we all grow up?

lol I'll proudly admit I was never in that particular fandom... while keeping conspicuously mum about my actual fandoms. Which were totally mature and never did anything ridiculous. I definitely did not ever do anything I deeply regretted later.

Jesus reading the comments on this I get why she’s anonymous
You know what? You’re right and I’m glad you called me out on it. I’m going to delete my comment. It’s one thing to snark on her faux flounce or fashion choices, etc.
Considering she has 1.8m followers.. the amount of likes she’s getting is a bit yikes
This is what happens when you buy all your followers. Colour me shocked.
She doesn’t buy her followers. She doesn’t really monetize her insta, so there would be no reason to buy followers. She’s some super rich dudes wife, and an OG on insta from when it was easy to grow followings.
OK, I don't think she's in the right for complaining about her number of likes because it really shouldn't matter... but just for the record I have around half a million followers on IG and recently my likes have been around 250-1500 per post. I'm anonymous here so I have no reason to lie about the fact that I've never purchased followers. I think Instagram's core audience has drastically fallen off, and these days I really do think it's possible to find people like this with extremely high follower counts and extremely low engagement who legitimately haven't purchased their followers. Just my 2 cents <3
You made me realize it's been over a week since I've even opened it. Posting is pointless thanks to the algorithm and that means I'm opening it less and less.
I have to agree with you here. Many of my friends, myself included, long for the old days of Instagram where we could check out crappy phone photos of our family and friends doing fun stuff in their daily lives. I loved that feeling of connecting with loved ones. Now Instagram just feels like flipping through a magazine. Which is fine if that’s what you’re going for... but it’s not for me. All this to say I spend waaaaaaaay less time on Instagram than I used to.
Yes! All of this. It’s just not fun anymore.

Without revealing too much, I got them by being featured by @instagram several times and being on the suggested users list for a very very long time. This was way before Instagram was even acquired by Facebook. I let the follower count stress me out for years, but now I barely post and totally stopped giving a fuck about Instagram in general, which I’m sure doesn’t help my engagement but #sowhatwhocaresnoonecares (lol)
This. Almost everyone I know who treats IG like a business has been reporting drastically lower engagement recently. It's just like Facebook pages - at the beginning they showed your posts to all your followers and then the organic reach dropped to like 1% of your followers because FB wants you to pay to reach people. IG is heading in the same direction.
It’s really sad to see fb ruin such a good platform :(
Carry on lady.
In the previous post she tagged the dress merissawebb this post says it’s melissawebb. Could the next post be marissawebb? We may never know if we don’t provide enough likes.
I’m kind of bummed that she’s being like this. I’ve been following her for years and was always under the impression that she kept this Instagram as a hobby. I enjoyed that it wasn’t a bunch of sponsored posts and she usually just gave outfit details in the comments. Granted I really don’t read her captions anymore, I’ve become a quick scroll and double tap person, so maybe she’s started adding to captions more and more or doing sponsored posts.
It is just stupid to complain about not getting enough engagement. She may spend all of her time doing these pictures but it doesn’t mean my world is going to pause so I can comment and feed her, apparently, ever growing ego.
I very much love how she took time out of her flounce to ID all her swag.
It smacks of a carpet liquidation sale. Quick, pay attention we are going out of business unless you help us out.
“I feel like time has come to its end.” 🌎🦖💥☄️🌌 One sentence in and I doubled over laughing.

I'm so glad I'm not the only person who was underwhelmed by her "style."

That's exactly the Dolly Parton quote!
This lady, however, is no Dolly Parton.

OMG. This is INCREDIBLE.
Oh wow why would you do that to a Birkin
omg her Birkin has a DENIM JACKET. I can't.
A Jirkin, if you will.
I will not.

Godddd a revolution can't happen soon enough.
Her hands are FaceTuned. That’s a choice.
I’m guessing she’s early 40s but doesn’t look it. Lots of my moms friends look older than they are in their attempts to looking younger. I think with the face covered she can pull early 20s when in reality she’s probably hitting 50.
There’s nothing wrong with aging except denying it’s happening to you

It does however make this immature tantrum that much more ridiculous...
dang you're right
[My husband suggested a while back that I should sell some of my #Hermès bags and buy new ones in other colors, sizes and hardware. At first I said - no way! I would never sell any of my bags. I’m giving them all to my daughter one day. But then I started thinking about it. He was actually right. I could start rotating bags and colors. So I did. I was just recently offered a #Constance24 in #Etain with #RoseGold hardware (🤩) which is why I have decided to sell this #Constance24 in #Craie with #PHW that I bought in the #StTropez store. Swipe for next photo - ]
Sure, Jan....
I don’t know how to post quoted text but this is from one of her recent posts
She looks like one of those stupid suggested accounts Instagram is constantly trying to shove onto my feed because I clicked ONE fashion post I wanted to see larger.
umm she claims that her followers arent giving her anything back in return? lmao bitch u probably make thousands of dollars per sponsored post go cry in your pile of cash

duuude you should look at the comments. some of her followrs seem to... worship her? they’re begging her to come back and saying that they love her and stuff. it’s kinda creepy
and yeetttt, like you said, she’s saying that these people aren’t enough for her jesus what a brat
lmao, ok this, I can't handle.
Lmao
This is like when you threaten to run away as a small child. Everyone knows you’re being dramatic and you’ll just come back.
She’s straight up: “If you don’t do what I say, I won’t be your friend anymore.”
This worst kind of kid becomes the worst kind of human.
She's probably one of those who does the follow-unfollow. Bye.
I’ve had quite a few “professionals” do that to me!! Like other women (I work in the beauty industry) who are other designers/editors for magazines and other beauty brands follow-unfollow me and it’s SO pathetic
🤣🤣🤣
Yeah, Girl! Do it! Take away something we don't care about. That'll show us!
And nothing of value was lost.
Is not showing her face some kind of schtick?
Not a schtick, she has an insane shoe and bag collection, and probably doesn't want to be a target for thieves either. She's apparently a Swedish socialite.
Or she is a thief and doesn't want her face with the goods.
Yeah, I was thinking that she buys things and exchanges them all the time and doesn't want her face seen, haha.
hmmm...I like where you went with that.
Her content is basic af. I dont care if it's all designer, it is not interesting, nor is it creative. She also hides her face - so there is no personal engagement, i dont feel like i "know her"which is what i like from following a good instagram account.
Completely agree... It’s pretty much why I don’t follow hardly any influencers, or even celebs who have a large amount of sponsored posts. I think Sea of Shoes (Jane Aldridge) is the only actual influencer I follow, and that’s bc I’ve literally been following her since she was 16. She has a more unique sense of style imo and doesn’t have a ton of sponsored posts. I don’t mind a (somewhat) impersonal account if the pictures have some personality. Like I follow a sourdough bread account where the person cuts and uses flour to basically create works of art on each loaf. I don’t really know much about them but their passion and creativity still shines through. Well also, I think it’s nice that I’m not being sold anything- it’s just food.
But seriously, I might as well flip through a catalogue for all the personality of her account... and I’m sorry if she doesn’t like that assessment but shrugs.
Link to the bread account?
Hopefully this link works
If not, it’s called Sourdough Nouveau!
I think creator Instagrams are different than fashion/lifestyle ones. I follow a bunch of creators that don't post anything about themselves, but I'm ok with that because I'm following for their art not for their lives. I think an impersonal style blog could work, but it would require more work from the Instagrammer because there would have to be something more, either because their style was really out there and unique or because they had some sort of "thing" beyond getting dressed in the morning (like recreating celebrity outfits with more available clothing, or industry insider info or something).
The bread is unique and something worth sharing with the world. The people with the designer clothes and no individual style are basically catalogues! Every #birkin looks the same (unless you buy it shirts I guess, #goalz!). Magazine editorial shoots and actual ads are at least interesting in their styling, photography etc.
There was a point when GOMI and the Reddit fashion forum were way up her ass. Every time they’d talk about her style and how it was GOALZ I’d go back to check the account to make sure it was the same kind of boring person I thought it was (I could never remember her handle). She used to be less tacky I think.
She also used to talk about she was only taking OOTD to document them for her daughter and she was making books of them for her. So that seems to have changed.
Yeah those photos are literally the same shit I'd see on Tumblr back in 2008-2010 and thought it was "goals."
Ooh I feel like we’re probably around the same age. Because at that exact time I was 16 thinking a quilted Chanel handbag would be the first thing I bought myself as an adult.
Lol a decade later I can’t imagine anything I hate more on this planet than Chanel
NGL, I still would love a Birkin bag.
Oh I always wanted a quilted Chanel and now it’s like ummmm no way
just because those gloves are gucci doesn't mean they look good
yo I was just coming here to say the same thing!!! So so so so bad
I just saw a VICE documentary about a guy who smuggled cocaine to pay off his student loans, but @upcloseandstylish stays focused on the things that really matters in life.
Lol like someone like that would just up and quit IG. Nice try
Bye Felicia
And she doubled down in her stories! Wow.
"...Look at it this way - Imagine you spending hours in the kitchen cooking and setting a nice table for family and friends. Everybody comes, they sit down and they eat and they drink and they seem to enjoy your food and evening. And then they leave. Without saying a word. Nothing. Nada. Then they come back, same thing. How would that make you feel? Would you still wanna do it weekend after weekend? Having people coming over but never hearing them say thank you...."
She's a bit much. Is it a job? Or is your life as effortless and perfect as you show?
That's also a terrible analogy.
I think a more apt analogy would be a line cook at Denny's storming out in a huff because patrons aren't coming into the kitchen to hug and coo at her for every mediocre Grand Slam that doesn't give them salmonella.
...except the line cook works 5x harder.
And gets paid a lot less.
Idk about other people but I invite my friends over and cook for them because I love them; I want to give them a gift of a meal and enjoy their company. I don't do it to be adored and thanked lol.
The analogy should be, you spend hours cooking an elaborate meal, and invite your friends and family to come watch you eat it. And then throw a fit when they don't thank you enough for the pleasure.
Or pay you by clicking the affiliate links. :)
Yeah that analogy doesn't quite make sense given you can make money and get free shit from a huge IG account like hers but you typically don't when cooking for people...
Oh yes. Quite the life of service she lives. 🙄
A real mother Teresa 😂

I lol at the instagramers who get mad if you view their stories but don’t like their posts. I can’t hit unfollow fast enough.
Here’s your rStyled hat and your LTKI coat, what’s your hurry?
Ha! Don’t let the affiliate linked door hit you on the way out.
Good riddance to redundant content.
Well honey, it’s been nice (not) knowing ya.
Cry me a fucking river 🙄

I read this in Mariah.gif
This is so cringey.
