Quit playing games with our hearts, Kim Kardashian.

The mogul, 43, teased fans with yet another hair transformation less than a week before the highly anticipated Met Gala. In an Instagram selfie shared on Wednesday, May 1, she's seen wearing a blonde wig with the front pieces clipped back.

Kardashian's longtime hairstylist, Chris Appleton, commented on the photo saying, "Blondes have more fun."

At first glance, it might seem like the reality star is hinting at her Met Gala look, but the photo actually appears to be a throwback from her 2023 Halloween costume as Cher Horowitz from Clueless. In the background of the image, Cher's iconic yellow plaid suit can be seen hanging from a clothing rack. Kardashian also sported a similar blonde wig for the Halloween look.

The throwback blonde hair selfie is the latest in a string of hair teases from the SKIMS founder in the lead-up to the 2024 Met Gala.

On Monday, April 29, Kardashian revealed a new pink-dyed haircut via Instagram — days after she appeared in bleached blonde hair while attending the 2024 Lo Máximo Awards in Los Angeles.

In the first of the Instagram snaps shared of her new pink look, Kardashian crouched down to pose with her new pink hair swept backward off her face in a choppy cropped hairstyle.

The Kardashians star appeared fresh-faced with no make-up as she wore a black mock neck long-sleeved SKIMS top and hotpants paired with black thigh-high heeled biker boots by Balenciaga.

Kardashian’s vibrant pink hairstyle could be seen further in a following close-up shot as she looked to the side with strands of her cropped hair covering her face.

In the last photo, Kardashian stood in front of a white wall as she gave a final pose with her arm raised above her head.

This isn’t the first time Kardashian has dabbled with pink hair.

Back in March 2018, she sported bright pink locks while on a trip to Tokyo with her sisters Khloé and Kourtney Kardashian, which was documented on their reality show Keeping Up with the Kardashians at the time.

Considering her long history of dramatic (not to mention controversial) Met Gala transformations, the anticipation is high for Kardashian's appearance at this year's Monday, May 6 event.

At the 2022 Met Gala, she famously dyed her hair bleached blonde and wore Marilyn Monroe's iconic nude dress. The mogul went on to keep her hair bleached blonde for many months after that before returning to her signature black hairstyle.
