On 12 July 2023, Belgian club Union SG announced the signing of Mac Allister on a three-year contract, with an option of a further year.[5]

On 5 October, he shared the pitch with his brother Alexis after the latter came on as a substitute in a Europa League group stage match against Liverpool.[6]
