      Critics Consensus

An unusually sweet and charming comedy by the Farrelly brothers. Fans may miss the distinct lack of bodily fluids though.

Alec B Still surprised by the hate this gets. Actually I think it is one of the Farrelly brothers' best movies as it has more of their heart (unsurprising given that it is about siblings) and lacks some of their more cruel and gross out material. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/10/24 Full Review Odyssey 1 Very funny and engaging. Two great actors obviously having a good time and playing off one another. A must see!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 02/13/23 Full Review Audience Member It's hard not to imagine someone somewhere not having an ethical or political issue with Stuck On You in 2021 (probably without having seen the film either) but after watching it, it's difficult to find anything offensive about it whatsoever. The Farrelly brothers have been known to go for lowest common denominator humour, and you can certainly see why people might fear the worst with Stuck On You, a comedy starring Matt Damon and Greg Kinnear as conjoined twins. But it is harmless fun, Damon and Kinnear have great chemistry, Eva Mendes is amusing as their friend and there's even a couple of cameos from Hollywood icons playing themselves. Stuck On You is really something you'd expect to be absolutely terrible, so it's understandably hard to get overly excited when it's not; but at the same time when you go into something with very low expectations and they're not met, it's never a bad thing. The Farrelly brothers have produced better, and they've produced worse. What that means for you personally will determine whether some day down the line you may find this on ITV4 at midnight and give it your time. Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/29/23 Full Review Audience Member I really enjoyed this movie. It is a cute movie with great music and cast of characters. I highly recommend watching this at least once. I don't understand why it received such horrible reviews. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

Neil Norman London Evening Standard It is a satire on Hollywood hypocrisy, and is, without doubt, the (Farrelly) brothers' finest -- and most subversive -- film to date. Jan 11, 2018 Full Review Nell Minow Common Sense Media Sweet, slapstick and crude humor. Rated: 3/5 Dec 28, 2010 Full Review David Ansen Newsweek What first feels like thin skit material gets funnier and sweeter. Damon and Kinnear make a terrific team. Nov 1, 2007 Full Review Cole Smithey ColeSmithey.com In spite of a convincing make-up job and the best efforts of its cast, "Stuck On You" falls as far short of the mark as the Farrelly Brothers' "Shallow Hal" (2001).
