James Michael "Jim" Quigg, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2024, at the age of 66.  Born on March 25, 1957, in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, Jim was the beloved son of Donald and Louise Quigg.

Jim leaves behind his loving wife of twenty-four (24) years, Debra “Debbie” Wells Quigg, and their cherished children: Patsy, Zachary, and James. He was a devoted grandfather, affectionately known as "Poopaw," to Pyrson, Paxton, Paislee, and Reed, who brought immense joy and laughter into his life.  Jim is survived by his sister, Sandra Quigg Porter, and brother-in-law, Les Porter.

As a child, Jim was especially fond of his family’s frequent trips to the University of Oklahoma, where the Crimson and Cream football team would battle on the gridiron. Jim was a proud member of the Boy Scouts of America, where he achieved the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout by the young age of fourteen. He went on to join both the baseball and golf teams at College High School, where he graduated in 1977. After high-school, he went on to attend his beloved University of Oklahoma, further igniting his fervent passion for OU football —a love surpassed only by the affection and devotion he held for his loving wife, Debbie (and maybe his dogs). His spirited enthusiasm for the game was infectious, making game days a cherished tradition for family and friends alike.

His family and friends will remember him for his sense of humor, generous spirit, and the profound influence he had on those around him. Jim's legacy is not only in his accomplishments but in the love and guidance he provided. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will continue to inspire us every day.

Hazel Brittain, age 93, completed her earthly journey on March 28, 2024, at Garrison Nursing Home. She was born to parents, Averett and Virginia Baggett on May 23, 1930, in Converse, Louisiana. She grew up in Shelby County and attended school in Center. She and T.C. “Pete” Brittain were married in 1947 and shared life and family for 56 years, before his passing in 2003.
