• Kelly Clarkson has two kids with her husband, Brandon Blackstock.
  • She is also stepmother to his two children from a previous relationship.
  • Here's everything you need to know about Kelly's kids and family—including whether she plans to have more babies.

Kelly Clarkson certainly likes to stay busy. When she's not coaching on The Voice, the American Idol winner can often be found making new music, on tour performing her hits, or on the set of her new talk show. Kelly also recently announced that she's headlining a new residency in Las Vegas—as if she didn't have enough going on already.

But, out of her many responsibilities, there's a role that means the most to the 37-year-old superstar: being a mom.

When Kelly married her husband, Brandon Blackstock, she not only became his wife, but also a stepmother. Brandon had two children from his previous marriage to Melissa Ashworth, a health insurance agent. The family has grown even more since then and now Kelly has two children of her own with Brandon.

Although blending families together can be tough, Kelly's brood appears to have nothing but love and support for one another. Her entire close-knit clan even recently joined her on the red carpet to promote her movie, Ugly Dolls.

The singer is open on social media and her talk show about how much she loves her husband and all four of her kids. Here's everything you need to know about them.

River Rose Blackstock is Kelly's first-born.

River Rose is Kelly and Brandon's first child together. She was born on June 12, 2014, according to Kelly's Twitter. The singer has written two children's books inspired by her daughter, River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and River Rose and the Magical Christmas. She told People that River is "very bold, and she’s progressive."

"She will run a company one day because there’s no way she’s gonna work for anyone," she told People. "She does not heed advice very well. She’s just very ballsy, which is awesome."

A perfect example is that River has her sights set on appearing as a guest on her mom’s new talk show. “She’s already asked, is that weird? Like, she’s 5, I’m afraid,” Kelly joked.

Kelly also added that River proudly tells everyone about her famous family. “She just started kindergarten, and people are talking about their parents and she was like ‘Oh, my parents? My mom is Kelly Clarkson and my dad is Brandon,’” she said on Late Night with Seth Meyers. “I’m like, ‘I don’t know if you should say that. You’re gonna hate it in junior high.'”

River might even be following in her mom's footsteps—though it doesn't necessarily thrill the singer. Although Kelly featured River in her music videos for "Piece by Piece" and "Broken & Beautiful," she doesn't want any her kids to go into music.

"I seriously hope they’re tone deaf," she joked, worried that she'd be too tough on them. "I hope they’re, like, teachers or doctors or something. It’s a hard industry."

Two years later, she gave birth to Remington Alexander Blackstock.

Remington Alexander is Kelly and Brandon's second child together. He was born on April 12, 2016, Kelly announced on Twitter. She told People that Remi has the most sensitive soul of the four children, but that he tends to create some destruction of his own.

"You will melt, you will be like, 'Ugh,'" she told People. "[But] like our oldest, I think he’s gonna be more the athlete, just like, 'How can I knock something over?' He’s like the Tasmanian Devil—anything that can and will be destroyed, is."

But her oldest child is stepdaughter Savannah Blackstock.

Brandon's oldest daughter from his previous marriage is 17-year-old Savannah. According to her Instagram, Savannah participates in equestrian competitions and has won a number of them.

She often posts about her horse-riding accomplishments on social media, recently sharing photos and videos from a competition on Instagram.

Kelly is one of Savannah's number one fans, and has publicly supported her stepdaughter's hobby on Twitter.

"Everybody go vote please! Our girl just won the championship in her division #GetItGirl," Kelly wrote earlier this year.

Savannah appears to be very close with her dad (not to mention the fact that they look exactly alike) as she called him her "favorite person" in a recent Instagram caption.

She also seems to have formed a beautiful bond with Kelly, as well, and said she was "amazing" in a 2017 post.

Followed by her stepson, Seth Blackstock.

Brandon's son from his previous marriage, Seth, is 12 years old. Seth made an appearance at one of Kelly's shows in 2015, where he came out to sing and dance along with her backup singers to a cover of Mark Ronson's "Uptown Funk." He is also a big fan of Ariana Grande, according to Kelly's Instagram.

Although Kelly was not a mom before marrying Brandon, she said she loved becoming a stepmom to Savannah and Seth.

"It’s so different, but it’s perfect. They’re awesome, and I actually really dig the mom thing," she told On Air with Ryan Seacrest before giving birth to River and Remi.

Although Kelly and Brandon are beyond happy with their four children, they don't have any plans to have more.

"Oh God, those tubes are gone!" she told Cubby and Carolina in the Morning. "That’s blasphemy. We don’t even speak of it. We’re both fixed in our own ways, yet still we’ll probably get pregnant again somehow...I have the worst pregnancies ever, it can’t happen again!"
