Kellen Moore

Kellen Moore is a former American football quarterback for the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions of the National Football League (NFL). He currently serves as the offensive coordinator of the Cowboys. The Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent signed him in 2012. He also played college football at Boise State.

Kellen Moore was born on  July 12, 1989, in Prosser, Washington. As per nationality, he holds the citizenship of the United States and he is white by his ethnicity. Moore is also popularly known by his nickname “the Surgeon”.  Kellen has a standing height of 6 feet and his weight is 89 kg.

As of now, Moore serves as the offensive coordinator for the Cowboys. However, he has not revealed the exact figure of his salary.

Who is Kellen Moore's Wife?

Kellen Moore is a happily married man. He and his long-time girlfriend, Julie Wilson tied the knot in 2011. Kellen and Julie dated for several years after meeting each other during their high school days.

Together with his spouse, Kellen has two children; a son named Kyler and a daughter named Halle. Their son, Kyler, was born in August 2014.

Family and Education

The NFL quarterback is the son of Kris Moore And Tom Moore. His father was the head coach of Prosser High school from 1986 to 2008. He also has a sibling named Kirby Moore. Moore attended Prosser High School for his early education. He got inspiration from his father and as a result, he played perfectly throughout his high schooling period. He played football along with his brother Kirby.

His brother Kirby was also a good player and holds the national high school record for career touchdowns, receptions with 95. He went to Boise State University and played football there.

NFL as a Quarterback

He turned professional in the year 2012, by associating with the Detroit Lions. He played with the team from 2012 to 2014. He joined Dallas Cowboys in 2015 and played until 2017. He was perfect and was named Boise State’s Most Valuable Offensive Player by the vote of teammates and he was also voted to the Football Writers Association of America’s freshman All-American team.

On 23rd January 2018, it was reported that Moore had signed with the Cowboys to become the team's quarterbacks coach. 

In 2019, he became the offensive coordinator of the Dallas Cowboys.
