watch Sleaford Mods' "Second" video starring Game of Thrones' Kate Dickie

It’s apparently Game of Thrones Day in the world of indie rock music videos. Aidan Gillen, who played Littlefinger on GoT, showed up in Fontaines D.C.’s “A Hero’s Death” and now here’s his onetime wife, Lysa Arryn (aka actress Kate Dickie) in Sleaford Mods’ “Second.” The video seems to exist in a parallel universe — specifically at an open mic night where an alternate reality version of the duo are made up of Dickie and Emma Stansfield (of Skins and The Tudors), while the Mods we know, Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn) are just there watching. Dickie and Stansfield do a very good Mods impersonation, from the Williamson’s Fred Perry shirts and vitriol, to the way Fearn chills out on stage behind his laptop, downing a lager. The ending posits another theory to what just happened. It’s a fantastic video, directed by Robin Lee, and you can watch below.

“Seconds” is from Sleaford Mods upcoming All That Glue, a collection of singles, b-sides, and rarities from their last seven years which is out next week via Rough Trade.
