Released November 9th, 1986, "The Whole Story" reached no. 1 in the UK album chart and was certified 4× Platinum in the UK.
Included are eleven of Bush's singles, although "Wuthering Heights" appears in a version with re-recorded vocals and a new mix. The twelfth track is the previously unreleased "Experiment IV", released as single just prior to this compilation.

Counterfeit copy now seen in brown variant across eBay and the likes. Best to avoid, zero royalties go to the artist, plus the copy pressing isn't great at all. 1986 first pressing is the one in plain old black vinyl!
This is an unusual sounding CD. The soundstage is extra wide and immersive, but the depth seems artificial. As another user commented, there is echo.- Not bad at all compared to the 2018 remastered songs
I've also seen this being flogged on eBay by British sellers in different colours of vinyl, not just white.- The new vocal on Wuthering Heights really kills this for me. So disappointing to listen in to the first track and get this half arsed version.
