Now, the 36-year-old actress has revealed that her body has 'totally transformed' since taking up Pilates, an exercise that consists of low-impact flexibility and endurance movements.
'I love Pilates! I take lessons from a very classical teacher. I also love training with Stephanie Watson, a personal trainer based in Los Angeles,' Bosworth told Vogue Australia.

'She has totally transformed my body with specific low impact strength training,' added the beauty, who used to date Big Little Lies star Alexander Skarsgard.
'I have never felt better and more centered and strong. She's brilliant.'
Kate has kept in great shape for films like Blue Crush, Superman Returns and 21.
In addition to fitness and wellness, another of Bosworth's loves is fashion.

The star explained that her latest fashion obsession is her new Chloé bag, which she is the 'first to own' in the world.
'My new Chloé bag! It's the most beautiful baby shade of blue/dove grey. The newest nod to the original Paddington lock bag - from early 2000s - and if you believe rumours, I'm the first to own it in the world,' she said.
The Win A Date With Tad Hamilton actress went on to say that she chooses her outfits for red carpets based on where the event is situated.
She said: 'I think specifically on the place and what the event reflects.'
Cruising along: Kate also opened up about what it's like to be a woman in Hollywood, insisting she feels less 'vulnerable' now than ever before
Kate also opened up about what it's like to be a woman in Hollywood, insisting she feels less 'vulnerable' now than ever before.
She said: 'You've got to ask me on the day. Today I feel great. But in general, I think there's a lot of relief from a lot of women in my industry. I really adore the support that's genuine.'
Surf's up: 'Some movies just have like magic dust like that one where everything came together,' the actress said of Blue Crush
Of recent changes in the industry in terms of attitudes towards women and harassment, Bosworth had this to say: 'I feel less vulnerable because I think we all felt like we were on our own - we were all in the same building, but each in rooms with the door closed. And now the doors are thrust open. There's a lot of strength and empowerment that comes from that.'
Clearly, however, there is still work to be done.
'There's a film that I'm thinking about doing right now, that I was offered three times less than the male. Same exact amount of work. And I drew a line,' Bosworth said of the negotiations necessary as a woman in showbusiness.
Of her Hollywood beginnings, Bosworth still has lovely things to say about Blue Crush, which was her first star-making vehicle.
'That movie is so close to my heart. I think there was a real purity to the story,' the actress said. 'Some movies just have like magic dust like that one where everything came together.'
Next up for Bosworth is the Edward James Olmos-directed drama The Devil Has A Name.
