Actor Shaad Randhawa made his Bollywood debut with Mohit Suri and Mahesh Bhatt’s Woh Lamhe, starring Shiney Ahuja and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles. Shaad portrayed the negative character of Kangana’s abusive boyfriend in the film. In a recent interview, Shaad opened up about his experience working with Shiney and Kangana, recalling an incident where he broke his wrist during a scene.

Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Shaad reminisced about his time working on Woh Lamhe. While he found Kangana friendly, he described Shiney Ahuja as a bit aloof. Shaad explained, “I was more friendly with Kangana but Shiney Ahuja was a bit aloof. In fact, there was also an accident on the set, not that he did it deliberately, but in one scene, he had to push me. He pushed me so hard that I fell and broke my wrist. He came and apologised. I said, ‘It’s okay.’ But he was a little different. He is a sweet guy but we never became friends.”

Sharing his experience of working with Kangana, he said, “Kangana on the other hand was very sweet and nice. She has already made her debut with Gangster and this was her second film. So, she had already played her innings and I was the newcomer. And I gave a lot of credit to her for the difficult scene in which I had to force myself on her. She made me very relaxed and I kept saying sorry to her but she said, ‘It’s okay.'”

During the interaction, Shaad also revealed that he was paid only Rs 1 lakh for shooting Woh Lamhe. He went on to work in other films with Mohit Suri and Mahesh Bhatt, such as Awarapan and Aashiqui 2. He was last seen in Hansal Mehta’s web series Scam 2003.
