Multiplex Cinema Limited (MCL) was formed in 1982 to provide audience with the best movie-going experience. MCL currently manages 17 prime cinema sites and 93 screens in Hong Kong. All of the MCL cinemas are located close to the MTR stations and easily accessible by the audience. Cinemas on the Island side there are Grand Windsor Cinema (Causeway Bay), Grand Kornhill Cinema (Tai Koo), MCL South Horizons Cinema (Ap Lei Chau) and MCL Cyberport Cinema (Cyberport); on the Kowloon side there are K11 Art House and MCL The One Cinema (Tsim Sha Tsui), MCL AIRSIDE Cinema (Kai Tak), Festival Grand Cinema (Kowloon Tong), MCL Telford Cinema and MCL Amoy Cinema (both in Kowloon Bay), MCL Cheung Sha Wan Cinema (Cheung Sha Wan) and MCL Cinemas Plus+ Plaza Hollywood (Diamond Hill) ; in the New Territories there are STAR Cinema & MCL Metro City Cinema (both in Tseung Kwan O), MCL Green Code Cinema (Fanling) and Movie Town (Shatin); while there is MCL Citygate Cinema (Tung Chung) in the Outlying Islands District.

K11 ART HOUSE is located in K11 MUSEA 4/F, with 12 houses and a total of 1,708 seats. The cinema is inspired by Swiss Alps, decorated with vintage copper lights and earthy dark wood walls. STAR CINEMA has 6 houses and 622 seats and is located at the shopping mall "Popcorn" in Tseung Kwan O MTR station. STAR Cinema has been serving the community since 2012 and is one of the most popular entertainment spots in the district. To enhance audiences’ cinema experience, STAR Cinema completed a major renovation in May 2020. MCL Culture and Movie Appreciation

MCL has been keen on promoting culture and film appreciation through organizing different film festivals. In the past few years, MCL Cinemas acted as an exhibition platform and organizer for various film festivals and programs, including "Hall of Korean Film", "STAR Academy", "Studio Ghilbi Film Festival", "12th Spanish Film Festival" and "HeaTitude". These programs provided audience with more different choices of films and further audience’s understanding of the world cinema.

MCL Special Programs

MCL has always been ahead of the curve, striving to provide Hong Kong audience with unprecedented cinema experience. Apart from movie exhibition, MCL is also actively bringing alternative entertainment programs to the market for audience to enjoy. In the past few years, over 130 live broadcasting events have been introduced to Hong Kong, including "B.A.P Live on Earth 2016 World Tour Live Viewing", "Fukuyama Fuyu No Dai Kanshasai Sono 16 Live Viewing", "5th GAON Chart K-Pop Awards 2015 Live Viewing", "L‘Arc-en-Ciel 25th L’Anniversary Live Viewing", "Yoshiki Classical Special Live Viewing" and "2019 Wanna One Concert [Therefore]" for pop music fans. In addition to pop music shows, MCL exhibited a series of Japanese live musicals and animation live shows, establishing MCL as a Japanese animation hub. Different kinds of programs were brought to Hong Kong audience including "Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon: The Musical", "Takarazuka Revue Theater Performance" Series, "Naruto" Series, cross-media school idol project "Love Live!" concerts, "Musical The Prince of Tennis" Series and mixed media franchise project titled "BanG Dream!" concerts. These live programs were all very well received by a wide range of audience.
