Jude Law is officially off the market, having tied the knot with his longterm girlfriend, Phillipa Coan, on April 30, 2019.
The Sun shared exclusive pictures of Law and Coan leaving Old Marylebone Town Hall in London, reportedly following their wedding ceremony. The low-key affair saw Law wearing a velvet jacket and a fedora, while the bride wore a short cream dress and carried a bouquet.

She's an accomplished academic.
While Law has made a name for himself in Hollywood, Dr. Coan is a recognized academic with a PhD. She describes herself as a business psychologist, and her Twitter account explains that she applies "psychology to tackle climate change," which is incredibly impressive.
Her research apparently focuses on making employee behavior more sustainable for the environment, and she's worked extensively as a consultant since gaining her prestigious qualification. Coan also founded STRIDE, a consultancy which endeavors to help make organizations more environmentally friendly. She's a Visiting Research Fellow at Leeds University's Business School, and a chartered member of the British Psychological Society’s Division of Occupational Psychology.
They apparently started dating in 2015.
According to Harper's BAZAAR Australia, Law was first seen with Coan at the Hay Festival, a literary festival in Wales in the United Kingdom. Law performed in an event called Letters Live, in which actors and performers read out real letters from famous literary figures.
In a review of the event back in 2015, Prospect magazine revealed that, following his performance, Law "appeared to be enjoying letting off some steam in the arms of his attractive blonde companion." Presumably, the "blonde companion" in question was Dr. Coan, in one of the couple's earliest joint appearances.
Similarly, the Daily Mail reported on the sighting of Law with "a ravishing 29-year-old doctor of psychology who accompanied him to last week's prestigious Hay Festival." The publication also said that Law and Coan "were introduced by mutual friends," and by May 2015 had "been dating for nearly three months," placing their meet-cute sometime in February 2015.
The site noted in 2015 that, per their sources, "Phillipa also accompanied Jude on a recent trip to Rome, where he was said to be in pre-production talks to play the pope in a new TV series called The Young Pope."

Aside from her academic work, Coan seems to be somewhat of an enigma. However, one thing is clear—Law is head over heels for her. According to the Daily Mail, Law previously gave an interview to Modern Living in which he said of Coan, "She’s mine and no one else’s. I’m very, very happy. Our relationship is a very private thing, and I think part of the fact it works so well is exactly because of that."
A source told the Daily Mail in May 2015, "Even though it's early days, Jude has already introduced Phillipa to the family, and even Sadie [Frost, Law's ex-wife]." They continued, "He's serious about her. He loves how intelligent Pippa is and finds it refreshing to date a girl who is not from his showbiz world."
Clearly, Law was committed right from the start, as the source explained, "He's pretty smitten and doesn't want to mess it up."
Coan is now a stepmother to Law's five children.
When their relationship started, Law already had an extensive family, meaning that Coan has now become a stepmother to her husband's five kids. Law has three children with his first wife, actress Sadie Frost: Rafferty, 22; Iris, 18; and Rudy, 16. Evening Standard reports that son Rafferty was his dad's best man at the wedding to Coan.
In September 2009, Samantha Burke gave birth to Law's fourth child, Sophia. And before Law started dating Coan, it was announced that his ex-girlfriend, Catherine Harding, was pregnant with the actor's fifth child. Harding gave birth to Ada Law in March 2015.
